    I have a personality that makes it much easier to be extreme than to be in balance, so I have alwayes tended to swing between deep self-destructive tendencies and almost fanatical spiritual and physical discipline. I just started therapy and my goal will be to sustain a healthy and balanced life style in 2025. Thank you for your work!

      Writing a RUclips script. I have been thinking about going into more depth on isometrics in the paid subscription but I already have an in depth horse stance video there so I’m not sure if people want more. I’ll see how the isometric RUclips video does and if people are interested I can make more content.

    • @Kboges
      @Kboges  13 часов назад +1

      I can usually set a pr in some variation every training cycle just by training close to failure and getting in my target volume. Over the year I hit multiple pr’s. So last year I hit a paused rep pull up PR. I hit an 80lb chin PR, a close grip constant tension PR, and recently hit a dead top 20lb pr. I rotate through variations of core movements and end up hitting a PR on one of them every few months or so.

    It all depends if the person really wants to work out. Let's be honest, everyone knows that doing basic bodyweight movements can do a lot, but people who hate working out love to have excuses.

    • @yewtewbstew547
      @yewtewbstew547 17 часов назад +1

      Nah there are a lot of newbies out there that think the only way to achieve their goals is to grind like crazy for 10+ hours a week. The average person, who lacks fitness experience, vastly overestimates the amount of work they actually need to be doing.
      It's a problem exacerbated by social media too, because a lot of "fitness" influencers on there just straight up lie about their work volume to make themselves look better and/or cover for their steroid abuse.

      @@yewtewbstew547 No offence, I'm just talking from personal experience with some of my coworkers. Going to the gym is their first excuse(no time, no money) and refusing to learn the theoretical part is their second excuse. If I tell them that all they need is a pull-up bar and some gimnastics rings, maybe some adjustable dumbell set and weightplates, they keep on saying that they don't have the money( but it's not an issue to buy the latest iPhone), place( but it's not a problem when it comes to clothes they never use) or time( a few hours excercising in a week is a problem, but tens of hours online somehow isn't). And not to mention the part on consistency: they don't want to hear that you need to train for years. Excuses, excuses and more excuses.
