He came to earth the first time to die for the sins of all mankind and arose from the dead to renew the covenant with Israel and Judah who broke the covenant at Sinai when they erected the golden calf. The Torah and Prophets spoke of this in the first part of Scripture.

The new testament is the story of the renewed covenant. The first 4 books of the new testament were the fulfillment of the Spring Feasts. Messiah then ascended back into heaven where He is now awaiting His Father's command to return for His chosen believers both Jew and Gentile at the resurrection on Tishri 1, Feast of Trumpets. The book of Revelation are the fulfillment of the Fall Feasts yet to come. Trumpets, Atonement, and Tabernacles.
when you stick with that story, you are separating your self from G-d {if that is what He is to you.} by two thousand years. He said, "Be as perfect as I am." It's on you/us now, my friend, and Yes He's coming back, so don't worry. and Yes I know, not have faith. Don't worry, He is. Plus He's a Jew, which makes Him perfect. amen. Shalom, I like Him.
