@Mattress Clarity, I own this travel pillow and like it. The point of the straps is so that your head doesn’t bob forward when after you fall asleep (not to keep the pillow in place if you get up).

Yeah picked that point up. She missed the whole idea. Thats why I wanted to see her demo it on an actual plane. (I have read plenty where some planes don't allow this style to attach) Crazy that aero engineers or ergonomic folk don't have one as part of the seat assembly. The worst part of flying long distances in cattle class is the head dropping forward. No matter what head support you have it wakes you up or because you need to use neck muscles it prevents you from falling asleep. I did think of bringing on board a scarf which with the permission of the person behind wrap it around top of seat and my forehead. Surely the aircraft designers can come up with a more suitable adjustable & permanent system. I know this is a glorified ad but don't do reviews out of a plane seat.

Why is it a problem if you are broad shouldered, and what would you then recommend instead?

Hi from sunny Portugal! Great thanks! Between this and the evolution travel simple which are the differences? The back straps only or the material as well? I want one for my wife she has a short neck 1,60m and one for me 1, 80m for me I was thinking about the cool one but is it too small with less support? Thank you so much!

Hi there! Portugal must be amazing... can I come visit? The Evolution Cool Original (the simple one) and the S3 are very similar - same height, same outer cover fabric (polyester) and same 100% memory foam filling. The main difference is just the strap system and different color options and it looks like the S3 will come with a nicer travel pouch. Hope that helps!

Are the straps supposed to stay threaded through the plastic (square) rings? What is the purpose of the rings?

when u dont use the strap, does it keep support the chin and head from falling forward? I am looking a travel pillow that has a good chin support and preventing head from falling forward, any recommendation? thankss

just wondering how would you like it if i added BCOZZY's chin support to this design?

I just bought one but I feel it's too big for me, I have a small head and neck and you can see it looks so different on me compared to my husband who has a larger head and neck. At 5 inches it's too tall. I'm considering getting an inflatable pillow instead

If there is no headrest on the seat, can you still wrap the straps around it?

    • @tankkillersd

Just an FYI - the memory foam distorts after a while being smooshed. So when you get home - unwrap it. Don’t keep it coiled up.
And - it’s not really good as a support pillow. It really doesn’t support your head. Which was the point.
    I don’t recommend it.

Folks never sleep or store your phone next to your head. Radiation from the phone may cause health problems over time, not worth the risk.
