lol it was me and when i rewatch the clip it annoys me every time but i was going for the objective honestly surprised my video even made it here, thanks gaming curios :D
Yep it sucks because when you try to move the payload you later have to read some dickhead comments on how bad the healers are ( im mostly tank or dps but it upset me ) and how bad is every one else. Because you jump to do the stupid play of the game and lost the game. Im sick of it.
I can never stress enough how important it is to play the goddamn objective I’ve been backcapped once on ranked and it was one of the worst ways to lose😤😤
I think how some of these happened on payload maps is that the defending team had the mentality of "oh someone else will take care of it" because that's how I used to think and some people still think in some games
Yes, you should leave the objective. For example, on Kings row, you want to hold the choke, not sit on the objective. And on Temple and numbani, you have to hold the highground. Very rarely should you set up right of the objective.
tru Backdoor: Basically a sym setting a tp up for whole team to make a push (example: kings row boiler room or Egypt's second point room). Backcap: 1-2 people who capture an objective by themselves, not being caught in the process (whole team goes for you)
Actually you do it at the choke points. But the point is pay attention to your suroundings, pay attention to the objectives, and for god sake don't overextend.
I'm in this!?!? AHDRCOOL, I was yelling at my team to just let the enemy team kill them. I had the settings disabled so you couldn't hear me, I wish I hadn't. I was YELLING! Still glad my clip made it though.
I always enjoy when it’s competitive and they get back capped and the other team wins cause it’s like “because you just lost at because you didn’t pay attention”
I find it funny how all of the characters who use a back door in this video could probably move around pretty easily without being spotted but then there is just 5:46 REINHARDT AT YOUR SERVICE XD
On the second point at hanamura there always seems to be a bastion as the only gaurd sitting on top of the stairs and I just go in as Tracer and sit below the stairs and cap the point. It's hilarious.
I remember one time I was playing as Orisa on Numbani, and I was just using the sitting emote almost the entire way to the checkpoint. It was hilarious.
I once almost backcapped the payload on Eichenwalde from the first checkpoint all the way to the end. Got stopped 2.5 meters away but it was still funny as fuck. What made it even better was that I was in a game with my favorite musician who was streaming at the time. Even more recently, I managed to backcap on Anubis in comp. Sombra's stealth is a valuable ability, kids.
I got confused, I had thought backdoors are hacks that give you administrative abilities, and backcaps are when you capture a point behind the enemy team. Great video by the way!
In the first clip, they only had to get a tiny percentage of the point to win but how does this happen? In my games even if they don't touch the point we still have to get to the first checkpoint a third of the way to capping.
old patch, when they initially added percentages for capture points, it didn't have the prerequisite of the first tick being capped first; if there was zero cap percentage then you only needed to touch - and hence, it was changed
I love it when that happens. You celebrate too early, you may have already lost. Tonight on a competitive match, I basically had carried my team at Oasis. On round three, with both teams being 99%, the red team murdered my team, Except me, Sombra, dealing with a Pharah who somehow distracted me. Anyway the timer had gone into overtime, I got lucky. Realizing my team was gone for at least four seconds, I hacked the pharah over the ledge near the trampoline hoping she would die, turned around and threw a translocator into the objective and teleported at the last possible second. I saw a Roadhog and Mercy dancing, Reaper tea bagging, and Lucio sitting. I contested the point and emp'd everyone. I held my ground for a good amount of time and killed their Mercy. My team made their way back and our Soldier and Mercy ulted. Just then the Pharah I thought I killed sent a barrage of rockets and downed two allies, good thing our Mercy was still there. In the end, we had a team kill, took back the objective, and won the game. Never count a win or loss until happens. The tide can always turn.
6:49 just curious why the payload was at the end of the map but the door wasn’t broke down? Is that hacking or fake? That door is busted down if you’re moving it at that point, I don’t understand…
What u did was it was temple of anubis me andnvenji had ult. There was only an orisa on the point so I used blizzard genji used Dragon blade and he died so o finished off orisa then i walled them off and captured the point. Good job genji
Ok so, here is the thing. I was playing dva on temple of anubis and the point captured where there was a frame between winning and losing. The circle of the point was gone. Thanks blizz (serious here, i was on defense.)
Every time I try this there's either an orisa/bastion combo just chillin on the payload or like I start to backcap but the second I start backcapping they see it and a fuckin rein genji and orisa all start charging at me smh
One time when I was playing Mercy the whole team left the payload to kill me and someone on my team back capped. One of my favorite games from back in gold. :)
I sat on top of the center pillar on a lijang map as mercy and no one saw me so I ended up contesting all the way untill my team came back with their ults
You have to capture at least 33% of the point to win a match in which the other team didn't get at least the same amount. This was to prevent matches where people just walked onto the point and won. Before, you only had to capture more than thean the enemy team which lead to matches where you only had to capture like 5%. I saw matches where a Sombra would turn invisible and walk on the point and win matches because of the way it used to be.
5:53. I'm not surprised by a tracer or ama pushing the cart without notice, but a fricking rien?!?!?!
Luke Foster
Reinhard can be really godd for sneaking
Jack and Jeff Hardy sometimes, but his footsteps, even when crouching, are fairly loud.
Luke Foster
But it's very easy
look at his level. he's playing with people who have barely played the game before
Dr. Sog oh yeah.
6:20 misses the health pack
Ha lol only just noticed that
Glad im not the only one who noticed that.
lol it was me and when i rewatch the clip it annoys me every time but i was going for the objective
honestly surprised my video even made it here, thanks gaming curios :D
Yash Patel
LoL
typical mei player
Rare footage of people actually on the payload.
Yep it sucks because when you try to move the payload you later have to read some dickhead comments on how bad the healers are ( im mostly tank or dps but it upset me ) and how bad is every one else. Because you jump to do the stupid play of the game and lost the game. Im sick of it.
I can never stress enough how important it is to play the goddamn objective
I’ve been backcapped once on ranked and it was one of the worst ways to lose😤😤
Seth Remo agreed!! That's what causes me to rage, play the objective. Stay on point. Don't stray to far!!
Seth Remo dude i won with 5 teammates i feel bad for the enemy team
P
Not paying attention in a normal game is ok. But in a Competitive match, damn theymust be braindead
Can't Stop Won't Stop it's worst that it happens at diamond level
all comps were on console so no miracle there
the first sombra one was pc
+AntonsMc lmao there was a pc top 500 player in here hahaha gtfo
AntonsMc rude
I think how some of these happened on payload maps is that the defending team had the mentality of "oh someone else will take care of it" because that's how I used to think and some people still think in some games
I learnt from the video that Zarya is basically a bigger Sombra
thelewis1997 ?
Flaming Arrows because no one ever noticed the zarya on the payload
this is why you NEVER over extended on the objective
You mean over time?
Pixelnation over extending means defending further out than you need to.
Shariq Arain U shouldn't really leave the objective at all...
Yes, you should leave the objective. For example, on Kings row, you want to hold the choke, not sit on the objective. And on Temple and numbani, you have to hold the highground. Very rarely should you set up right of the objective.
There's various strats that incorporate over extending but yeh for casual MM it's dumb to fight half way across the map from the objectice.
i think the worst part about this is it's mainly diamond and top 500 play so how the hell do diamonds and top 500s let this pass by
Tunnel vision, it happens
Were human lmao, plus masters and diamonds are mainly one trick dps or healer anyway
Tunnel vision, in comp as well it's hard to hear in game sounds due to Players talking.
Ahhhhh smell that... that's the smell of bronze .
There's a top 500 player in here lmao
Halden Kavanagh More like the smell of console..
TheMysteriouswatcher r u really stereotyping console players jeez and I thought the people that didn't notice the back caps were dum LOL
SkippZz scrub console player
SkippZz i dum? Dum? Dum? Excuse me but it's dumb idiot
backdoor? you mean backcap?
tru
Backdoor: Basically a sym setting a tp up for whole team to make a push (example: kings row boiler room or Egypt's second point room).
Backcap: 1-2 people who capture an objective by themselves, not being caught in the process (whole team goes for you)
Luigi it's not a boiler room it's a stillery
Allunator GT lmao no it's not a stillery it's a DIStillery, where alcohol is made. You prob watched the vid with Jeff, seagull and Muselk and misheard
League of legends term, the creator plays league
Elias Yazigi the stillery was a typo. i was too lazy to correct it.
TBH this is the best video y'all made in a while
a watermelon is 98% water i can stand on a watermelon this makes me.....
98% Jesus
Donovan Grey all humans share 99% of the DNA so this makes you....
99% jesus
Donovan Grey are you ok sir?
ian mcmahon im not okay im 98% Jesus
what the fuck
Donovan Grey cucumbers are 99 % water therefore i am 99% jesus
maybe the title should be: doumbest defenders of all time
Derport sorry,im from Germany...
Derport no,it's fine :)
Derport xD
TimH3nr1x
*dumbest
Dumbest spelling of all time
and that's why u defend on the point
Dan the pan or just don't overextend
Actually you do it at the choke points. But the point is pay attention to your suroundings, pay attention to the objectives, and for god sake don't overextend.
“Always leave yourself a backdoor” true words of a sombra
Last night I was sleeping in bed and then I heard my backdoor open and Genji stole healing from my fridge!
Genji Main :D
But you are genji
The legendary mcboop he's a genji *main*, not genji
it was the enemy team Genji
it was the enemy team genji
I'm in this!?!? AHDRCOOL, I was yelling at my team to just let the enemy team kill them. I had the settings disabled so you couldn't hear me, I wish I hadn't. I was YELLING! Still glad my clip made it though.
drcoolisme so proud of you baby!! This is a cool birthday present for me!! ;) Hard work pays off lol
FINNHUDSONLOVER you his mom?
What time?
Time stamp pls?
2:19
This doesn't even happen in your average bronze game. Trust me. I'm in here
*always leave yourself a back door*
This always happens to me as rein
My teams like "WHERES REIN FFS?" Then we win
What was the guy at 8:45 talking about "we're not going to win with you on winston" winston is probably the second best tank behind dva rn?
Elias Yazigi heres the answer that guy is bronze
Oh god I’m so glad they got rid of the one touch cap that was crazy 😂
The Zarya and Rein were soooo sneaky I loved it!! XD
Some stealthy plays here. Apparently crouching makes you invisible!
When Overwatch becomes a stealth game
lmaoooooo that Rein knew he fucked up. 3:38
Wow, a video with good clips
Doccy Stars
that's how curious usually is. watch them.
Pixel Joystick I mean I think so.
The gold ones were understandable cause I mean it’s gold but the diamond and top 500 ones...feels bad man
Great vid, your video focused on the title that's rare to come by, especially in overwatch compilations. Congrats!
Beautiful video curious ❤️❤️❤️
Done this a couple times as tracer, it's really funny getting away with it and the sudden rush as the enemy team tries to get to the payload too late
I just realized that all these clips are old clips
I always enjoy when it’s competitive and they get back capped and the other team wins cause it’s like “because you just lost at because you didn’t pay attention”
“I cant do it beacuse my mains are big” 5:50
So no ones commenting how Gaming Curios put an ACTUAL title for the video up?
That was great! I backcapped once on Dorado as Mei. Best feeling ever
Really liked the sneaky Reaper one, and mei ones. Those were the best Imo. Cool vid :)
At 7:30 how was the door up if the payload was passed it? It gets broken down when it is passed it.
7:45 Reapers text got changed from 'gg ez' to 'Wish you all the best.' lmao
3:38 that reinheart knew he made a made a mistake 😂😂😂
I find it funny how all of the characters who use a back door in this video could probably move around pretty easily without being spotted but then there is just 5:46 REINHARDT AT YOUR SERVICE XD
On the second point at hanamura there always seems to be a bastion as the only gaurd sitting on top of the stairs and I just go in as Tracer and sit below the stairs and cap the point. It's hilarious.
I remember one time I was playing as Orisa on Numbani, and I was just using the sitting emote almost the entire way to the checkpoint. It was hilarious.
honestly at 5:30 that genji could've just stood behind hanzo taking the point i dont think he would've noticed lmao
The hanzo would have contested >.>
Can't cap with enemy on the objective or else the defending team will lose 100% of the time.
I'm a little late, but this is to everyone. r/wooooosh.
THESE are backdoors. Great compilation.
4:35 and 5:23! Named after two of the greatest musicians in human history!
3:20 What happened with D.Va? I Thought she was thrown away becouse Pharah launch knockback rocket, but on speed 0.25 she totally teleported.
7:00 how’d the payload get on other side but doors not broken?
Did this as a Pharah in point B of Volskaya Industries. Felt amazing hahaaaaaa
3:40 when Reinhardt tries to rush back 😂😂
Oh my Clip was in the Video ! x3 :) (The First Clip)
MrFabs then why was the game not in English? Just wondering, not calling you a liar or anything :3
6:24 Lmao He forgot to get healpack
NAV DAUQS LOL HEALPACK
I once almost backcapped the payload on Eichenwalde from the first checkpoint all the way to the end. Got stopped 2.5 meters away but it was still funny as fuck. What made it even better was that I was in a game with my favorite musician who was streaming at the time.
Even more recently, I managed to backcap on Anubis in comp.
Sombra's stealth is a valuable ability, kids.
what was with that mccree's button mapping at the end? that's some next level crazy shit right there
I got confused, I had thought backdoors are hacks that give you administrative abilities, and backcaps are when you capture a point behind the enemy team. Great video by the way!
In the first clip, they only had to get a tiny percentage of the point to win but how does this happen? In my games even if they don't touch the point we still have to get to the first checkpoint a third of the way to capping.

it's called backcapping.... wtf is a backdoor
Spongebob theres a front door and a backdoor, people call it different this, backdoor is actually used more though
VroomVroom this is the first time I've ever heard people say backdoor and not backcap
In League of Legends this type of play is called backdoor, i guess that's why, the editor is maybe comming from LoL (or an other moba)
Hydraks oh. Well i come from the tf2 (( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)) and we call it backcapping
Soon all the pros will be using the backdoor technique.
My friend once backcapped on Hanumara as Roadhog in a DIAMOND GAME.
we still lost.
A week ago I had the exact same moment on the exact same map like roadhoag has at 0:45 but as junkrat
I watched a 1min ad just for u 😘❤️💖💛
I love it when that happens. You celebrate too early, you may have already lost.
Tonight on a competitive match, I basically had carried my team at Oasis. On round three, with both teams being 99%, the red team murdered my team, Except me, Sombra, dealing with a Pharah who somehow distracted me.

Never count a win or loss until happens. The tide can always turn.
9:24 what kind of controls are those??!
I was playing a comp game as genji and I was doing nothing. But then I back capped and won us the game.
6:49 just curious why the payload was at the end of the map but the door wasn’t broke down? Is that hacking or fake? That door is busted down if you’re moving it at that point, I don’t understand…
Older footage. Look at the level icon, it's different.
That turret damage with Sombra looked legit...........
I tried to watch this video with happiness...
BUT I COULDNT GET OUT OF MY MIND THAT YOU SAID BACKDOOR AHJAGHAGAHGHAGHAGHAGHA
What u did was it was temple of anubis me andnvenji had ult. There was only an orisa on the point so I used blizzard genji used Dragon blade and he died so o finished off orisa then i walled them off and captured the point. Good job genji
Ok so, here is the thing. I was playing dva on temple of anubis and the point captured where there was a frame between winning and losing. The circle of the point was gone. Thanks blizz (serious here, i was on defense.)
7:46 typing in „gg ez“ = „wishing you all the best“ ? xD
Every time I try this there's either an orisa/bastion combo just chillin on the payload or like I start to backcap but the second I start backcapping they see it and a fuckin rein genji and orisa all start charging at me smh
0:56 TRIGGERED
That's how we know that people don't care about the map's objective, they only play to get kills and the POTG
One time when I was playing Mercy the whole team left the payload to kill me and someone on my team back capped. One of my favorite games from back in gold. :)
7:00 why is the door shut but the payload is behind the door?
Challenge: Who is the only hero with more than 300 health, able to heal themselves and a high damage machine gun?
Dawudzboss Dawudovic bastion?
Dawudzboss Dawudovic the one that can't move in machine gun form
I’m assuming you mean exactly 300, otherwise it wouldn’t be anybody. Bastion is the only option
Dawudzboss Dawudovic actually bastion has 200 health and 100 armor
Roadhog, his ult. But everyone is able to heal them self with healthpacks no healer needed
how come whenever genji says his ultimate line in the german version of the game he sounds like he has a cold
This is why you never leave the payload to get some 'ultra wombo combo Zarya tracer potg'
When people say "We need to group up" but you're smarter so you take points all by yourself. Lol.
Welcome to Overwatch, where you can push the payloads with your presence.
Hang on a second at 6:00 the doer is not broken down and the payload is magically inside the castle
Was open the door and after she open close
I sat on top of the center pillar on a lijang map as mercy and no one saw me so I ended up contesting all the way untill my team came back with their ults
It amazes me how oblivious people can get during games
The instant capture update was crazy
awesome NICE VIDEO 👍
Lol 7:50 "Wishing you all the best"
One time as sombra they were defending the choke on lunar colony and i snuck around and solo captured the point
Beautiful
This is why i am always looking at the objective or on it.
At 6:50 the payload is Passed the door and the door isn’t broken down
1:11 how was the cap time so quick?
Do you understand comp
Videos so old they still haven't added the 33% rule... smh
xZero37x They only added that a month or two ago
xZero37x tf is that
You have to capture at least 33% of the point to win a match in which the other team didn't get at least the same amount. This was to prevent matches where people just walked onto the point and won. Before, you only had to capture more than thean the enemy team which lead to matches where you only had to capture like 5%. I saw matches where a Sombra would turn invisible and walk on the point and win matches because of the way it used to be.
The reaper one must be really old, since the payload did not break the big door
HE GETS IT DONE AGAIN
6:58 why is the dore closed ???
WessY
It used to be like that until Blizzard changed it
WessY Old clips blizzard changed it tho
7:03 how did the door not get broken the cart has to go through it
7:00 how is the payload on the other side of the door when the door isn’t broken down!?!?!?!?!
I did exactly what that rein player did at 5:50 that's the only map Ive ever back doored that hard
Moral of the video: Never push away from the payload/point when playing defense.
You should consider captioning the audio. It's hard to hear what the players are saying over the music.
