I find that I can’t read any fiction physical books while I’m in school. My mind is so geared towards non-fiction. I would love to read these books though! I took a medical anthropology class as a social and behavioral science major!! Especially epidemic illusions as a public health concentration. I feel that I would love to talk about these topics with you

This is the first time I heard of your major and I just find it so interesting and fascinating. I definitely want to read "Dying of Whiteness" if my local barnes and noble only had it in store I would have, but they didn't.
Have you tried maybe a public library? If getting books off the internet isn't accessible to you that may be a possibility if you haven't considered it!
If anyone wants to know about Paul Farmer’s life and the development of Partners in Health, highly recommend Mountain Beyond Mountains. Read it for my Med. Anthro class, really interesting book and you get an interesting perspective as the author gets know Farmer through the years. Also Bending the Arc is a great doc on Netflix

I am in public health so these are literally among my favorite books. Medical apartheid should be required reading for everyone!
