9b California here! I purchased EA last year and thought it would look magnificent in a huge terracotta container. I was not expecting it to become 4.5+ ft tall and 4+ ft wide the first year, especially being in a container. I’ve read that it’s not uncommon for it to throw up long canes in my climate, some will even train as a short climber. Abundant blooms and incredibly healthy, this shrub is a beautiful beast.

Absolutely gorgeous! Thanks for sharing. I bought EA this year, it’s in a pot. Im in 8a, hopefully I’ll get some blooms next year. Got it from Heirloom, canes were small though.

Thanks for sharing! 😍 Your rose looks so healthy. Mine is in first year and is small but very beautiful. I look forward to her maturity. I am so happy it is own root that I dont have to wonder/worry if any long cane is actually a sucker. 😄

Gorgeous rose! Is that just 1 plant or more? I have Earth Angel and she looks nothing like yours. My roses all seem to die back every year here in zone 7 Middle Tennessee. We have had crazy winters for about 3 years now with warm then cold then below freezing and warm again. We had to cut back to about 12 to 16 inches tall almost all of them except for The Poet's Wife and Queen of Sweden. I've lost a total of 5 roses this year. I replaced my Crazy Love from Grace Rose Farm you suggested and they have sent me an email saying it's on its way. Thank you!
About 2 years ago we moved the Charles Darwin by David Austin to a sunnier place and it has done ok until this year. It had to be pruned to about 6 inches tall, but the strangest thing is where it was originally this year a new rose popped up there. It is a bare root rose not own root. We will see what it becomes since it decided to grow I suppose from part of the original root system. My original Crazy Love I believe was own root. Will it come back and how much needs to be cut off? My husband left it about 12 inches tall.
Take care can't wait to see the next video. 🦋🌹🌹🦋

Oh goodness I’m so happy to see this video ❤️ Thank you. She’s on my must have list. Especially after you recommended chambles roses and I can get her in a three gallon container! Perfect for someone impatient like myself 🙈 how old is your beauty? We have similar climates so I guess I need to prepare for her being huge? But how huge?! Yours is already huge! Is yours own root? 😯😯

Mine have no scent. One bloom open similar to photos you seen online and the other open up quickly. I brought it from heirloom, maybe it has to do something with its age? 😅

Hi! Love your roses! ❤ Do you have any advice on how I can promote bigger flowers on my Earth Angel? I bought my first one in the Spring and the flowers are so tiny! Or does it just take a few years to get to that stage? Thanks!

This is definitely one of my bucket list roses! I’ve put it in a shopping cart so many times and then taken it back out 😂
I’m worried about how it will do in hot humid Houston 🤔 I hear the buds will ball-up with too much humidity. So conflicted right now.
    It’s gorgeous!!!

@@TheRoseGeek I believe its Bloomables. I still have the pots sitting in my yard. Sweet Madammoselle and Lenardo DaVinci. Both from a local nursery. Pardon if I butchered the names.

And if you research them they have DA roses in the bloodline

@@TheRoseGeek SM has been impressive its first year. I purchased Leo on name and pictures. Its a dog pile. Almost no growth and not a single bloom. My wife makes fun of me and tells me we could have gone to lunch on the money I wasted. So this means it will rule the garden next season.

Bought mine this year. She came with a terrible spider mite infestation 😢 she has only one single cane left with a few leaves at the top, sure hope she grows well next spring 🤞🏼💐
