  • Have you ever wondered how blacksmiths used to protect their bare metal in a time before our modern clear coats or other steel treatments? Well it was a simple fix, and one that is safe and non-toxic. Welcome back everyone, and I'm glad you came to hang out for a few minutes. Come with me today as we see how Crafty Jon has become at the welding shop, and see how we coat bare metal in a traditional way with beeswax. Have a great week everyone, and we will see you on the next video

I’m so proud of John learning the trades! I will encourage my boys to do the same. That’s awesome! And this is a cool process!

I am too. We had some long discussions his junior and senior years about what he wanted to do in life. He really didn’t want college, and wanted to work with his hands. Told him carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc…. Had just as high a demand if not more that these other jobs with a degree. Really proud of him for going the route he’s going
