    I was so confused about the Rue backlash. She was pretty much exactly how I pictured her since she is CANONICALLY BLACK IN THE BOOK, plus she was an amazing actress and possibly the best done part of the series. People just refuse to acknowledge or believe that their racist behavior in fandom directly correlates to their real-life views and beliefs towards black people.
    To complain about black people being in these FICTIONAL spaces, you must also take issue with us taking space in real life places: jobs, your neighborhoods, with people you are attracted to (or not), being friends with your friends or relatives, being famous and successful and HAPPY in your presence.
    Black joy and success makes racists UNCOMFORTABLE, so of course they don’t want to see us in their media. Just like we want to escape racism and our racist reality, they want everything to be lily white so they can escape US. And that’s really why they don’t want us in their fantasy and fiction.

    Thank you for this. I am profusely sad, angry, and exhausted. Fandom often really is not a safe place for blackness.
    The dehumanization of black people is so deep rooted in every facet of media we consume and it ABSOLUTELY is a direct link to how we’re treated in real life. Real life is traumatizing and the various media that black people consume and support are supposed to bring us some sense of catharsis. But we can’t even have that. We can’t have Finn be the new main savior of the galaxy in Star Wars. We can’t have Black Panther being praised and make endless amounts of money without it being called overrated. We can’t have Candice Patton play Iris without the endless videos on RUclips about how she’s the worst character and the endless amounts of harassment.
    Black people can’t have joy. Black people can’t be seen as sympathetic. Black people can’t be heard. Instead, the disgusting evil of racism and the consistency of having to justify our fucking existence and humanity creeps into every facet of our lives, fictional or otherwise.

      I don’t think this applies to all media. Thinking back on my own watch history, the majority of black characters in the things I watch are decent characters. And when I do see a black character get underutilised, it turns me off because it feels like the writer is taking a break or something. But there are so many movies/shows that don’t do this. Sicario, the black guy is the voice of reason. Collateral is only racist in assuming Mark Ruffalo has a convincing hispanic accent.
      Like I get that the hacker guy in Transformers who “ate the whole plate” is a stereotype laden character but he’s leagues better than Shia Labeouf’s character. I didn’t like Black Panther because it didn’t establish immediate stakes the same way Blade does (this is the same reason I dislike the SW Prequels btw) Black Panther himself is awesome, he was awesome in Civil War because he was a man on a mission; it’s just that his standalone movie has pacing issues. Any Morgan Freeman movie ever. I’m not saying that black characters getting shafted isn’t a thing, I’m saying that there are so many alternatives to go and watch.
      And I’m as pissed as you that Finn turned out to be such a neutered character. He could of been an ex-stormtrooper badass who, even if he wasn’t the main Jedi character, could have been the rogue warrior badass who steals the show a la Han Solo being so popular despite being a side character; but they take every chance to side-step Finn doing something cool and it’s frustrating. John Boyega was more badass in Attack the Block; a movie about teenagers fighting alien-beasts with fireworks and cheap katanas and dying. How the hell a budget action dramedy outdid a Star Wars movie is a screwup.

      This is not quite only, but very much an American problem. I'm not saying people perceived as 'other' don't face persecution everywhere. It's just that it can run the gamut from (begrudging) acceptance to the way Americans handle it as if they can't share the planet with One Other Person.
      Michael Moore tried to explain this as a cultural persecution complex, but even that is too forgiving. It feels like it's hate for the sake of hating to start with, _then_ separates into different aspects & specializations after it finds itself.
      The thing is, things _were_ getting better all 'round until the Reagan years. I *know* PC language was part of what caused this. But it feels as if just RR's *presence* somehow started something. I haven't figured out yet exactly what. But I'm always trying to seek ways to undo it.

Listening to this video I remembered one of the most subtly racist things I’ve ever witnessed. A Kenyan born coworker was telling another, very white, coworker about how her instructor at a home care aide college course was not helping her and other students who spoke English as a second language with medical terms, and venting her frustration at the bigotry of it all. The white Canadian-born woman was expressing her doubts about the bigotry through the whole exchange, she must be misunderstanding and so on. I chimed in saying that sort of thing happens all the time, and suddenly she completely believed the story. For context, if you’ve ever heard the joke about the guy so white he sunburnt his scalp while wearing a hat... that’s literally me. No exaggeration, I really got that sunburn.
    I’m a white guy whose personal style codes conservative, so I get to hear a lot of the racism, sexist, homophobia and transphobia people say when they think they have a friendly audience, and it can genuinely be as bad as you’d think.

Like it changes the experience for them but want to pretend there is no racism and its just idpol or that they're the real victims of poc representation, somehow.

    One hundred percent this is the truth. As someone who also suffered through the Vampire Diaries, the racism is extremely prevalent both on the show and in the fandom. Bonnie Bennett was my favourite character on the show (and honestly should have been the main character with the powers she had). The way both Kat Graham and her character were treated was horrific. I remember the amount of times fans said that she should have been killed off or experienced MORE violence (than she already did) because Bonnie simply refused to do something for the main characters. I also remember getting into arguments with people over the treatment of her character and how fucked up it was that over the course of several seasons, there were entire episodes where the only time she was on screen was literally to perform spells for other characters. I remember watching one of those "nighttime routine" videos with Kat Graham a few months ago, and she talked about how she always had to get her hair done at a salon and wear wigs while working. The showrunners didn't want her to have her natural hair and it wasn't until the pandemic that she finally got to rock her tight, kinky hair. I know it seems small by comparison to all the other crap, but to me exemptifies how it must have felt working on that show, that pressured her to look as white as possible while still treating her like dirt and then face racist harassment from fans.
    It's heartbreaking when you think about how much extra emotional and physical labour black Actors and Actresses go through. And then fans have the audacity to get angry when black actors and actresses aren't "grateful" for working on these TV shows and movies? Pardon my language but FUCK THEM.
    The fact that TV networks and movie franchises bend to racist fandoms is infuriating. They could do the right thing and give their Black characters ACTUAL storylines instead of dehumanizing and sidelining them. Instead showrunners and producers do exactly that, validating all the racists that argue, "well that character can't be a Jedi cause they're black." It's like an endless cycle of racist misery.

    _"Fandom is the way you see where your value lies"_
    This is true, and it's also why fandom by nature is problematic. Anyone who is putting greater emphasis on things that are popular instead of thinking for themselves and watching all types of films and consuming all types of stories is viewing both art and reality through a narrow lens. People who only care for Star Wars and Marvel and refuse to watch movies made before they were born, simply because they are older movies, or movies with subtitles simply because they have subtitles, are participating in discrimination without just cause. It's no wonder that belief system and their narrow world view would follow them outside of the media they consume. They aren't thinking for themselves, or perhaps at all.

The second black character had white saviours and then he's immediately puppy dog in LOVE over the the first white woman he sees when his chains are off. That is sad writing. " The next ethnic character they introduced was an Asian woman"
      Wrong. The next ethnic character was Poe who is portrayed by Latin American actor Oscar Isaac (real name Oscar Hernandez). He was claimed to have been the sequel trilogy's Han Solo yet gets hardly any screen time in the first movie, gets no real love interest in the whole series, is berated and attacked by women (both physically hit and shot at), etc... Hollywood has always had a problem with portraying straight nonwhite men as attractive and with love interests and that includes Poe.

    • @mandelharvey3429
      @mandelharvey3429 4 года назад

      @@NomadFlow reasonable. He presents as white American male the way British fin presents as black American. There were characters in rogue one who just happened to be non white American males.
      Its a statement about how Disney views non white males that Po, who I had no idea wasn't supposed to be white, and Fin are the implied gay characters as Fin is the implied princess Leah to Po as solo with shots that in any of the other movie that go to romantic. Nothing against gay However in this case it removes them completely from having any effective sexuality totally emasculating those characters. By contrast old guard had a hero couple that were tough as nails and super cool who happened to be gay. They were gay but not emasculated.
      And now that you mention it, fin got physically assaulted by women and then was all triumphant over fighting a woman. I know I teach my son, never ever ever ever ever ever take pride in beating a girl in anything. We are to protect the women. Even the crazy ones. You've already lost anytime you need to raise hands and totally defeated if you feel a need to raise hands to a woman. It is a reasonable civil rights statement though. How the powers that be pit the under classe against each other. Women and ethnic minorities are not the WE THE PEOPLE of the United States constitution.

    • @NomadFlow
      @NomadFlow 4 года назад +3

      @@mandelharvey3429 "He presents as white American male"
      He does not. He is not treated as a white man and I explained how.
      "Its a statement about how Disney views non white males that Po, who I had no idea wasn't supposed to be white, and Fin are the implied gay characters as Fin is the implied princess Leah to Po"
      That interpretation is completely inaccurate. The fact that there was a push to make Poe and Finn a gay couple by inept people backs up my claim that "Hollywood has always had a problem with portraying straight nonwhite men as attractive and with love interests". A similar push happened in Rogue One to make the character portrayed by Donnie Yen and that mainland Chinese actor also a gay couple. Once again, two nonwhites pushed to be gay. If you look at all of the Star Wars live action movies, not a single nonwhite character has ever had a serious and meaningful love interest or romance. In the prequels, they also had a Latin American actor (Jimmy Smits) who never is shown with any love interest despite being the one to raise Princess Leia. Lando despite being shown as flirty in Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi is not shown with any woman. Then in the movie "Solo" they ridiculously reveal that Lando is pansexual and to add further insult to injury they say he is sexually interested in robots while Han Solo in the same movie is given another love female love interest to make up for the fact that the character of Leia is not in that movie.
      Consider also that they just announced that for those horrible MCU movies, they will have the first gay couple on screen played by Haaz Sleiman and Brian Tyree Henry. Both are nonwhite men. This once again proves like I said that: Hollywood has always had a problem with portraying straight nonwhite men as attractive and with love interests.
      In Hollywood, white men are always portrayed as the sexiest men alive and constantly with female love interest of all races while nonwhite men are almost never shown as physically attractive as white men and with serious love female love interest. Furthermore, Latin American and Asian American women in Hollywood are almost always with white men as their love interests while Latin American and Asian American men are either given no serious love interest (especially not with white women) or are shown as not straight. White women, especially the really attractive ones, are almost never shown in serious interracial relationships. It is a tragedy that no one has realized this and no one is talking about this.

      @@NomadFlow we pretty well agree. Fin and po specifically are shot as a gay couple without the kissing. I didn't want that. I didn't set the camera angles and pacing to imply they're a couple. They're an attempt for Disney to have the cake and eat it too. The greater point of non whites not having romance is agreed fully. Non white sexuality and gasp trending towards making more of us outside of the white people's participation is Hollywood taboo. Probably earns a Y rating past NC17 and X.
      The two friends in rogue one were kinda implied, but they were super cool and capable.
      I'm not Hispanic. Po to me completely blends as a white person. Although to me, watching X-Men, Alexandra Shipp and Halle berry are shot to blend in as white in most scenes of the franchise. Also, the two hottest advertising women in their respective movies are just background for the romantic leads. I love the other actresses fine who had romantic story arcs but nobody even notices Shipp or Berry exist.? That's just strange to me.
      If you watch the mandolorian, it's great that a Hispanic actor is behind the mask. For all but 5 minutes of the show he presents as just another white person.
      On star trek, generally they had black actors play roles that could've been anyone. Post racism future I guess. The first black character they portrayed was major Kira. Yes Nana visitor is a white actor she played a black character I recognize as black from my church. She knows Jesus personally and God has a crush on her. Will kill people on her way to church. The oppression background. Faith ridiculed because of her past but validated by the demonstration of seemingly impossible prayers answered. Relationship with God. Odo being referred to as a god was for her character to fully be that old black church lady. Star trek discovery is super hated. I personally love it because they have an alien who, though not romantic, acknowledges being black in America and reflexively feeling a sport prey species. There's other elements of Black and minority culture on the show. Most notably to me the Klingon that bleaches his Klingon appearance and is hypnotized to be human. And the racist Vulcans sarek and Spock being fleshed out with Michael.

    I don't recall them being doxxed or even harassed. And they didn't stand up for Leslie either.
    And this was fckin GHOST BUSTERS. It had two movies. It wasn't even a franchise like Star Wars. The average age of the Ghost Busters fandom has to be 40 plus.

    Also thank you for pointing out that white gay people (and slashers) contribute to the marginalizition of black people especially black women in fandom. The whole Arthur/Gwen/Merlin thing was a joke. CW can't even properly protray a canon ship without having to pander to the Merthurs so that they can't get upset. I even saw a video discussing how Arthur clearly has more feelings for Merlin because the Gwen and Arthur scenes had no chemistry and it made me mad. It's like they don't want to acknowledge why that is. More recently in the Voltron fandom people were so into their Klance ship I guess they kinda forgot about poor Allura who is supposed be Lance's love interest (not that the writing on the show helped.) She's the most important character on the show, but she gets sidelined in the fandom because of some scenes where Keith and Lance kinda look cute standing next to each other. Voltron is a whole other mess onto itself.

    Thank you for everything you share here. You're helping people understand how far this bullshit spreads, and how insidious it can be, just by refusing to let it go unsaid.
    I'm particularly (and, to get it out here, I'm a white, straight, cisgender man) struck by your bringing up Rue, since I think the resistance to a sympathetic character, such as her, being black is particularly significant. Peoples' brains treat characters with whom they empathize as though they were (real life) people (with whom they still empathize), so the stakes of how such a fictional character is treated are much higher than recognized. In other words: when a fandom fights a major character being accessible; it's because they don't want to have to identify with the group of people that character might represent.
    White supremacist fans recognized that a black Rue might force sci-fi and fantasy fans to recognize the humanity of black people, so they fought against it in the hopes that they could delay that recognition. Let's kick the legs out of that hope by showing a fandom united against all forms of discrimination.

    It's not just in the U.S. that we're dealing with this. I'm French from a Caribbean territory (they think it blinds us to call our island that instead of the colony that it is) and I interact with all sorts of people from various countries because of work, art and friendship... France is quick to point fingers at other countries for being racist but still actively organizes the marginalization and struggle of people like me in their last colonies. They try to be less obvious in continental France but they do nothing when a brilliant black woman (then Minister of Justice, we owe her the French law recognizing the transatlantic slave trade as a crime against humanity and the push for allowing gay marriage or "marriage for all") is caricatured on the cover of a national publication as a banana-eating monkey. Where is the indignation when people disrespect her or any other black person in public spaces? They're pretending to support the production and distribution of diverse films (through a couple of government agencies) but when a filmmaker/producer who is actually black and trying to get black stories out there, they do whatever they can to hinder the process unless it's yet another story of black misery, black poverty or black tragedy... And yeah, black women speaking from an educated and experienced perspective is not something this world is prepared for. As soon as we try sharing wisdom or knowledge, some white person is either trying to invalidate what we say, shut us up or feels we're being rude towards them, when it wasn't even about them to begin with. It's hard to navigate this while keeping an open mind and heart, as a black person who has befriended others from so many different countries and cultures from infancy. Support black voices... There are good black indie films being made in this world and they are not getting enough support.

    I have always been suspect of people who try to justify their hatred as 'criticism'. I'm from the UK and I have to admit the racism I see coming from the US does shock me, but I know we are far from innocent here and it only seems to be getting worse right now. But even during the New Labour period here I overheard a few friends talking about how they were visiting a city and couldn't believe how many 'black and Asian (here we use that term to mean Indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi/Sri Lankan)' people there were. I said 'so what? That's not a problem', and a friend replied 'it is'. To this day I've never had an answer as to why that's a problem, only that it is. Of course this person has always categorically denied their racist views, if I ever point it out I get attacked just for mentioning it like I'm being unreasonable. I recently said to this same friend 'If I had a Muslim girlfriend would you have a problem with it?', this was relevant at the time as I knew a Muslim girl I was attracted to. He insisted 'no, I'm not a racist', so I guess he just cherry picks his racist attitudes when it suits him. Anyway the point I'm making I guess is there is always an imagined 'problem', there is always a 'don't like it being forced down my throat' reaction whether you see it in fandom as a token effort or as a genuine attempt at building a character. I remember when the argument was 'don't insert your minority characters in our existing fandom, go write your own unique story'. That argument didn't protect the film Moonlight which was frequently accused of pushing an agenda, of being forced on people, but it was an original story about a gay black man just like they insisted they wouldn't have a problem with. There is always an excuse, but one thing I've learned over the years about racists is they will never label themselves as such, they will never admit to it, so let's not pretend that just because they claim they aren't racist doesn't mean they aren't.

    As a Latinx lesbian, bs in fandom is so real. People constantly complaining about having queer characters, or that "it's not realistic " is crap. It is exhausting, and I know POC folks have to deal with so much more. I'll keep trying to be an ally anyway I can. Keep fighting racists in fandom and outside.

    Great video. So many people dismiss concerns of representation and bigotry and bring up false equivalences and make bad faith arguments. How black and other minority characters are treated in fiction are related to white supremacy in institutions. I love John Boyega's activism on these issues, his emotional BLM speech in Hyde Park was so powerful.

    Man... that last part left me speechless. It was so poignant. Allies have to listen to the people they're supporting and believe them and actually support them. They need to listen, learn, discuss, and grow. If you don't want to listen to marginalized people, if you don't care, or worse yet actively deny there are problems and deny the experiences of said marginalized people, then you're already part of the first order, you're already part of the Capitol. That's some deep, true shit.
    I really have no idea how any white person can still look at themselves in the mirror and say there isn't a huge racial inequality, that police brutality doesn't exist, that systemic racism isn't real... I don't fucking know how those bitches sleep at night.

    You remind me of me when I was younger. Old school, Generation X black nerd here. What I've come to discover (and I think you are coming to discover) is that art cannot be separated from culture, and the mediums we love are in fact white cultural forms. White culture is unfortunately exclusionist and to an extent supremacist - no matter how benign it is presented. What I've found out is that we don't NEED their art. And more than anything else attaching ourselves to it is a sign of our internal issues. Its the geekdom doll test. We have to make our own.

    This video is it. You explained how terrible it is just to be a FAN as a black person in nerd culture. The way black characters get hate, no support or even popularity is sickening. You never see a iconic black character that people in fandom support, or if there is one you see fans downplay them. Look at Arcane! Mel and Echo are some of the best characters from that show, but fans love to only hype Victor, Jayce and Jynx. When it comes to Mel fans see her as coming between Victor and Jayce when in canon Jayce loves Mel and vise versa. They call Mel evil and say she's untrustworthy, but in the same breath forget her character and writing in the show. She's suppose to be a person in power who is trying to get what she wants, but was sort of groomed that way by her mother. She's a complex character. I bet if she was white she would be getting all the support in the world.
    What john boyega went through is very sad. It's tiring.

    • @smuggrog9821
      @smuggrog9821 Год назад

      Yep, the Arcane fandom demonized Mel so much and pretty much reduced her to being the "evil seductress" when her character is way more complex then that. While Ekko mostly gets ignored by the fandom and the few times he does get hype, 99% of the time its due to his connection to Jinx and not for Ekko as a character.

It breaks my heart how much hate and "unintentional" racism is ingrained in white society (and also fair-skinned latinxs) and the horrible consequences it has. It's so deep the level of suffering and pain white europeans have caused to so many people around the world, and it pains me so many of us latinxs fell for it too, allying with the oppressors instead of with you. Thank you for your videos, I wish you only the best!

    I can't believe people have a problem with Candice Patton on Flash, this is one of the most attractive women I've ever seen in my life, my _mother_ told me she thought Candice Patton was one of the most attractive women _she'd_ ever seen. I literally feel the same way about Nicole Beharie. Moreso, even, when I was watching Sleepy Hollow I put her - and I told everyone this - in first place with Hayley Atwell as the most attractive women that I could think of. Not that their level of attractiveness is the most important thing here, no doubt, I'm just saying... I can't believe that people would want women who look this good to go away. Especially when they are also good at their jobs. Not adequate, not acceptable, *good.* I mean, I don't watch shows based on hotness, and I don't disregard shows easily. I even kept a list for awhile so that I could say which ones I'd watched from beginning to end, finishing them is important to me, but I refused to even entertain the notion of watching Sleepy Hollow after Beharie left. I was like, I know the dude is Ichabod Crane, but why would I watch this now? The whole thing was the dynamic between the two of them. Like asking me to watch Sherlock Holmes without Watson or something, it's virtually obscene.
    Where do these people get off saying diversity ruins the things they like, because as far as I can tell racism ruins everything that I want to like, including, you know... life.

    On the trip ‘home’ from my last overseas assignment, I was nearly overwhelmed by a tragic but not surprising sense of dread. Because although my birth certificate said it was my home, and in spite of wearing Her uniform for the better part of 20 years, my final destination was a place where, put simply, they don’t much, like my kind. Believe me, that’s a hell of a way to feel about the place of your birth. But by the time my plane touched down, the knot in my shoulders had fully formed.
    Until Panther, Steve Rogers was my favorite MCU character. Ironically, Captain America seemed the least American and most European (modern that is) of them all. He, more than the rest, comes across as what people were like before they became ‘white’. Not convinced of any sort of superiority; more interested in Justice, than just his; more enamored of what’s right than The Right. James Baldwin talks about the difference in his brilliant essay, ‘On Being White and Other Lies’.
    Anyway, this is my long-winded way of saying to you, Amen.

    There's a lot of reasons but honestly stuff like this is a big reason that even when I really like things I mostly avoid getting into fandom spaces. People in fandom will treat fictional characters and their idea of what they should look like or their headcanons as more important than actual human beings with disappointing regularity. And yeah, maybe they're not *everyone* in fandom, but if they're there and loud and they ruin everything then I kind of don't care. Who wants to be in a space *for fun* where you or your friends need to have your guard up all the time?

  • @silveredgeshaid574
    @silveredgeshaid574 4 года назад +4

    Stories reflect our reality. How people are portrayed in media matters. How people are treated and portrayed as fans matters.
    What's more humans are wired to connect deeply with stories. We have been telling stories since we first started to be humans. Our memories and histories are a mix of fact and story telling.
    There is a difference between reality and fiction but to believe or pretend they don't effect each other is like saying moss doesn't effect the tree it grows on nor the tree effect the moss growing on it. Likewise to say how someone is treated in connection to stories, in a fandom, doesn't effect them irl is ridiculous. You might as well say "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me." And you'ld be lying, 'cause as an often acutely social species words can hurt the most and leaves wounds that last for decades.
    Basically I believe you. It sickens me that many don't, and I am ashamed I used to stand among them. It is a dark kind of violence your taught to agnolage the pain of a person to a point, but that it isn't that bad anymore so just close your eyes and ears and don't seek to know more than the little we (news, curated media, class based/white propaganda, parents, etc.) tell you. It's very "There is no war in Ba Sing Se" but like instead of implanting such things via hypnosis based mind control it's something just set up as an undisputable part of life to you as a child. Still hard to unlearn, but far more subtle and easy to ignore.
    Basically, I agree and sympathize as much as I can when I can only imagine what it must be like to be a poc. Still I'm ready to listen and believe you or anyone when they talk about pain they've experienced.

    Genuine perspective like this is why I subscribed honestly. There's this whole side of hobbies and fandom that I truly don't know enough about. It's crazy to think that people can be so condescending and paranoid towards an entire group of people.
    Black people don't deserve to be treated this way, especially with what they have gone through, and what they continue to go through.

    it really doesn't help wither of just how separated we are from our peers. I'm new to your channel and this is my 3rd video, but yeah I can see how much you try to bring a community together and awareness and since we as minorities and especially black minorities are buried in a sea of white our individual voices aren't heard or cared for. It always upsets me most when even with the whole "white ally" aspect, we then become dependent on this person to be an ambassador for us like we're speaking another language, that we're THAT different from what others deem as a normal person that they need comfort in seeing a familiar face just to begin to acknowledge us. It's so fucking sad and it hurts more how the discussion of even this movement has been getting drowned out because people are "tired of protesting". "Tired of walking in the streets" or feel that they've done enough to cleanse themselves of this white guilt shit and they can now go on with their lives thinking they're heroes. The fact that they can just leave this struggle whenever they want should show them how different we have it. We're born to be weary and cautious and never had a say in the fight we're forced to be a part of. Just because they're tired doesn't mean they get a break, because we don't either.
    Alright, back to binging on the "big tiddy maiden" energy.

    hey, idk if you'll see this, but I just wanted to say real quick just how much I've been loving your channel, I just recently discovered it of myself, and (without trying to put that pressure you or put responsibility on you to educate me, or anything like that) I've been learning so much through hearing your perspective on the fiction that I love, about how to be a better ally, and a better person, both within fandom, and outside of it. And I've just been recommending your channel to any and every fandom involved person that I know, because for the longest time, the only channels I knew about on you tube that were taking about my favourite shows and films were straight white dudes, and all this time I've been completely sleeping on, and unaware of your videos, and now I'm like why have I not been watching this the whole time? I hope your channel keeps growing and thriving, and that your voice is heard within the community, I think that's everything I've been meaning to say, ily, I love your videos, can't wait for more! ♥
