  • Hello sweet color friends,
These are 4 new coloring books by Myra Rowse.
I know they are made with AI but… a big but for me…
    I love them anyway. ❤️
I am not the biggest fan of coloring books made by AI and I know a lot of you don’t like them.
We all love coloring books that are made by an artist. Coloring books that have ‘real’ drawings but still…
I love the pictures in her books. Sometimes there are some little mistakes in the pictures ( I know) but to be honest i don’t mind.
If I like the picture I want to color it … and these pictures, especially the ones with the black backgrounds I adore 🥰
Also her book with all the dresses, so beautiful 🤩
Also… maybe these books don’t have ‘real’ drawings, I am sure it is not that easy to make them.
I wouldn’t have a clue how to make them and I am not going to try lol 😅
The prices are also very low and AI or not it gives me the same relaxed feeling when coloring them.
Coloring in these books is not a crime 😉😉
This is my idea and point of view … you don’t need to agree of course 😉
    Thanks for watching!

I love to support artists, not a fan of AI. Some have too many detailed and fuzzy backgrounds. I do, however, appreciate your video here, and I may see something I like.

As much as I am fascinated by the beauty of these images, I do not support coloring books created with artificial intelligence.

I love her books but the one thing I don't like are some odd bits and pieces in the picture that I have no idea what they are.

Im the same as you when it comes to AI stuff but I colour what I like. I love Myra Rowse books and they are open to feedback when you do catch those little mistakes.

I am usually not a supporter of AI. I feel this is stealing from the person who created the original page. However, sometimes exceptions can be made.
When you go to the grocery store and buy generic brands, this is the same thing. What I won't support is the AI creators not saying it is AI created. I try Google image search and try to find the original book. If I can find it, I purchase the book from the original author.
Art supplies are sold all the time. You get a set of colored pencils and see they match up to a regular brand. I want to support the major brands. However, I am always going to go to the cheaper brand. Especially if the cheaper brand works just as good as the name brand. While it does bother me that I have to do so much research to find out they are the same manufacturer of the cheap brand. But if the original brand is $150 and the generic off brand is $45, I will buy the cheaper one. Then I can hopefully buy open stock on the colors I use the most without buying a new set.
Sometimes, you can't buy the book because it is out of print. I have a list of coloring books I search for daily, hoping I find a copy of it. 3 out of 18 books I have found, so far. All of these 18 books are no longer in print. I did find the 3 books on Amazon UK International. Still available overseas, just not in the USA.
With this series of coloring books, the black background really caught my attention. I will buy one of the books so that I can inspect it closer, and to see if Google can help me find the original version. However, if the book comes and it doesn't have the AI creators name on it, it will be returned. A lot of these books have the images only. No info about it. I hope this makes sense. I can't figure out how to write what I am looking at.
I purchased a couple of books by Amber Land. I was shocked to see that no where had any information on the AI creator. I did a Google image search and found out that most of the pages where from one book currently available to purchase. I put that book in my wish list and returned the AI books.
Some books, I can't tell from the images listed, if they are AI. But I have figured out that if its cheap, its most likely AI. If there is no way to leave a review, its probably AI. if its grayscale, its probably AI. Some books scream AI. My vision is not what it used to be. Looking on a cell phone, I can't always see the grayscale.
I did purchase a book that had the original design and then had a grayscale design in it as well. When I started to do a page, I found weird stuff. Hand had six fingers, lines not connecting, a blank spot out of place. Turns out it was AI. The person traced the originals, so they looked like regular page. But the grayscale was AI. Comparing the images, you could see how much detail of the regular page was missing.
To be honest, I would not have known these black pages where AI. I have started doing RUclips searches on books that I don't know the author. That is how I found this video.
Whether we like it or not, AI is here and will never go away. Sticking to authors you know, will be a safe bet. Do your research, so you can find and support these creator's. Leave honest reviews. Sorry to ramble, I just wanted to give everyone something to think about. Thanks for creating this video!

Thank you for your honest response on this video.
I am a huge fan of books drawn by a real hand but that doesn’t mean I can’t love pictures created by AI…
What I didn’t know is … there are original books … I thought an AI book was made with AI and the images are original. Someone creating images with AI and make a book … really didn’t know they use already existing images…
I really think Myra Rowse makes her images herself… but I can ask her.
Also … I do have a problem with the fact a lot of images made with AI have so many mistakes in it… that is a pain in the a@@ … and this is the reason I don’t want to buy them.
Myra Rowse asked me if she could send me her books and I said yes… because I do like her books and the mistakes are not that bad…
So we all have our opinion about it and I do respect everyone’s opinion on this subject…
      Thank you for your honesty
      Kind and colorful regards,
      Julie
