Can you show your process to package your sales? I'm just wondering how long do you spend packaging, find the packages, where do you get the packages... ?
I store my own inventory until it's time to sell, and then I ship most of it to Amazon and use their FBA program. Amazon takes care of the selling side. I do sell some inventory on eBay though, and I still love eBay. I've noticed over the past year or so that prices on eBay have come closer to the price on Amazon on a handful of sets than they used to
@@BrickBucks I’ve just started investing in Lego and I have found most of my good deals on eBay. I’ve wondered, with all the lowballing going on there, how does Amazon compete? Is it that people feel safer buying through them? I was also wondering if you would recommend selling on Amazon to even low volume sellers or is there possibly a threshold you would want to reach before selling there makes sense financially?
Do you have a sales tax certificate from your state? A couple of the sets you got at 20% off like the mandalorian starfighter at $48. Do you pay sales tax on these purchases or have the sales tax waved?
I have a registered business so I don't pay sales tax, most of the time. A few retailers don't accept sales tax certs, but they're the retailers I buy from less often. All prices in the video are the real costs, so if I paid sales tax, it's included in the numbers here. But vast majority of my buying, I don't pay sales tax
How in the HELL can you by 155 units of a single set for half price? Yeah, sure... we all can find a few sets with a steep discount and buy a few units of them, but 155???
repeat orders. Many people think it's much harder than it really is. Just gotta surround yourself with people who are operating at a large scale, and learn
Why not show the true cost? Your showing "profits" without shipping fees, packaging, amazon fees and then income taxes on any actual profit. I'd be suprised if after all that you end up with even 60% of your claimed profits
What's the most quantity of a single LEGO set that you've ever purchased?
So where do you acquire hundreds of one set at a time?

Box for expensive sets. Bubble for the small cheap ones. Save or buy boxes.
@@whodidit99 So you don’t box every Lego set you ship?
Shane sells fba, so amazon does all that for him
@@stevenrhodes32 no 70% go in a bubble mailer. expensive or "collectible" sets go in a box
Quick questions…Do you let Amazon handle your inventory? If not, why Amazon over eBay? Thanks

You must not have got the extra gate at amazon on the starship
I’m obviously a newbie. No idea what that means! 😄
@@reggiem1668 amazon is more convenient and seen as more reliable than ebay. that's why prices are generally higher there.
Amazon removed the Christmas Tree and Sleigh because they are "discontinued". Do you see this a problem in the future?
how do you accumulate more than 100 when most sites limit purchases? Thx
Some people open multiple accounts, and buy from Lego store.
This would be great to hear about in a video.

Does Lego announce when they’re retiring a set?
No they don't announce it but the information tends to leak out and if we get clued into the communities, we hear all about it
I go deep and wide 😅. My top 3 of quantity: 600, 400, 350.

Those costs are included in the calculation
