Nerissa has such a great singing voice, especially when she sings in Japanese, for some reason. Like, Nerissa singing in English is nice, but when she sings in Japanese, it really does just hit different.

What I'm more wondering is why her Japanese singing voice sounds "better" to me than her English singing voice. It's almost... clearer? Maybe it just has to do with how she positions her throat for the Japanese accent?

This did lead to her getting trained to do some things that are not necessarily ideal (for example, to always smile while singing), so she's taking lessons from a professional vocal trainer to un-learn those bad habits and improve even more.
