If you are struggling with any region of this quest guide, or miss anything, the 60-61 video tomorrow has an extra ~20% exp built in to it. (So if you want to skip kamasylvia vicinity or Gyfin Temple you can lol)
Why dont you have like a mil subs yet?? Bro u have the best video guide imo here in YT. Im watching you for a year now and you basically helped me learn BDO from 0 to where i am. Thank you man and keep it up like this!
The answer to the Gyfin Rhasia riddle you didn't know (after you run through, saving stamina, touching the two interact spots) is "They are made of metal".
There's another area in the Lake Flondor region just north of Grana where you can pick up an additional 7%. Look for the two little ponds due west of the Flondor Instrument Shop and look for the quest giver at the southern end of those two ponds. It'll start a chain quest to determine who won a swimming contest by just running around and talking to various people in the Flondor area and will add a nice 7% extra.
Thanks a lot, these guides are golden! Just hit lvl 60 with my new seasonal character by quests only. And that was a lot more fun than just grinding. Again, thank you, and keep it up!
I started this at level 60 and it took me to 61 at almost the exact same rate. Interesting to note. I like this section of your questing more than the 60-61 section. Maybe because I've done it so many times, but either way, I will keep using this guide, thank you
Love your work with all the vids you do. Thought I'd mention how I couldn't finish the questline in Grana as I've not done the Kama main questline yet. Doesn't make much difference for the levelling though so... Many thanks for all your vids so far! They're a great help
Dude you have no idea that me and my buddies really did the chenga tome drinking game, RIP Carl just got knocked out after taking 9 shots of tequila and we laughed to fricking hard after your warning (I watched this video way back before so i kinda knew what i was getting into) more power to your channel mate!
Hey thank you so much for this series. I’m just making my third season tune. Appreciated them very very much the work you put in. A note: Console players CAN use this now. It might be worth updating the video to avoid confusion. Tx again!!
I just came back to BDO a month or so ago. At first I was completely boggled. I had changed computers and installed the game fresh. Blank toolbars etc but I got it all sorted then to remember where to go, etc. Magnus wasn't out back then and Odylitta was new. I'm now pretty familiar with LOML and have done Magnus. And found EvilDoUsHarm's how to videos again. I like to level up new characters. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS UPDATED SERIES!! I open the game and then your videos saying "Lets see what Daddy says to do next." You like to say "I'm not your Dad, you do you" but I call you Daddy anyway just for fun. The things people do to entertain them selves.
Yet another fast leveling experience, thank you! Unfortunately, the Grana questline did not net me enough EXP. I suspect that is because I do not have the Kamasylvia questline completed and the NPC wanted that to talk to her. I've followed the video percentages and I'm sure I didn't miss any quest, even had more EXP than the percentages given. However, since I had full PEN Tuvala gear, I went with the more grindy, but still very very fast questing path: 1. Polly questline - didn't involve ANY killing, it was just a quest from Looney Cabin that leads you to Grana and then you kill squirrels 2. At Gyfin - went with the second and third quest, the statues are easy to kill if you got 200+ AP, just dodge the mobs 3. Manshaums - did the 3 co-op quests with like a 10 minutes of grinding, they net me tons of EXP 4. And finally at Kamasylvia Vicinity went with the questline as it is in the video, the gargoyles were very easy to kill with my gear, and there I got the 100% So in case anyone needs more EXP and you have decent gear, those quests are very nice to do along the quest path in the video.
Thank you for these! I got a bit tired of the repetitiveness of BDFoundry's quest leveling guide, refreshing to go a different route! Looking forward to tomorrow's release :D
8:08 - For the quest chain that starts here you need to do the main Kamasylvia to finish the last (?) quest 'Tremendously High Price'. Now off to Polly forest because somehow i'm 40% behind in xp according to this guide... 8:42 - On the quest "Traces of Another Civilization, Gyfin Rhasia" which you get from the dwarf, die twice or more then forget about it because you will not get the lost xp back. And there are too many places to get caught up on and allow the statues to get you straight line or not.
idk who was complaining about Stars End. that is easy!! Gyfin Rhasia Temple is the pain... the hardest part is getting in the right spot to get activate the task, specially standing on the ledge in front of the statue with no room and just about getting killed with 305 DP (Full PEN Tuvala)!! actually I can't tell you how many characters I've leveled up with your videos. I have memory issue, so I can't remember all this, and you have never failed me!! thank you like always!!!
nope, died on the second of the two spots on the first quest. dyeing destroys all you Ancient coins? wth?? I mean, Drakania sucks some major ass if 2 hits from these thing can kill her with 305 DP, all my other characters have taken worse here and kept going! but it's destroying inventory... i beat all my crystals are destroyed if they are destroying inventory! i shouldn't have come back to this dumpster first!!! I left because the neurologist said I needed to remove stress. what happened to games being fun?
You don't have to cut this, this is just a fluke! I got pined between the mobs and a half-wall, they had me knocked down, and while I was spamming S, they were cranking for another hit, and the refined juice wasn't enough to take a second hit!
I got a fishing rod, a matchlock, a lumbering axe, and a butcher knife from the NPC Lando in the new Eternal Winter questline. So it's not necessary to buy them :). Thank you for making this video series, it's showing me yet another side and way of how to play BDO and I enjoy it very much :). 9:42 the right answer is "they are made of metal". Btw, the two quests there seem very unnecessary. Running through those mobs is a huge risk and a lot more risky than just doing the poly forest quests.
You can skip that one and the kama vicinity, I pinned a comment at the top about them! They are risky and not needed. But also I have to cover something about them because they are there and give exp... tough spot.
@@EvilDoUsHarm Yes they are there and give the XP, but you specifically skipped the two quests where you have to pass through Star's End (which is easier to do than this one btw) because you said people die there, so I feel like including this quest but skipping the Star's End ones is inconsistent and illogical :).
In Cena, on the second floor of the first building you go into, there is a scholar you can talk to for more easy exp, if your willing for the small trip back to Acher Guard Post,
I was just strolling along, questing per usual. Say "collect 10 parchments or something" easy task I said, got to the area (obviously didn't see the location) fought some mobs and instantly saw RED lol almost died but didn't overall great guide thank you!
Hey! for that last 1% you need to level up, just go further up the mountain to the Valtarra Mountains, there are two quests there same NPC, that puts you 1% exp over 60.
EDUH amazing videos. One thing you mentioned in a comment which is helpful for others - running the leveling guids below (56-57, 57-58, 58-59) won't help you when you are already Level 59, as they don't give you much XP. Therefore equip your CHENGA and run this guide here! 🙂
Hey, just wanted to let you know inside the Library in Grana there's a side quest u can do from "The Scholar" pretty good exp for small work, also not just one quest but several, but the second quest after the first has u going all the way back to Archer Guard Post :)
Its Winter Season 2022: There is a buff you can pick up from Calpheon from Rubin by the Storage; [EVENT] Steps of Growth; 300% Combat for 9 hours. I am level 60 starting this guide at 11% and have gotten to 4:30 with 45% exp.
You should add a notation that you can skip the Gyfin Temple's 2.8% EXP, it's a pain in the butt to get to and it's not a huge chunk especially if the player has done some extra combat I get you need it for the guide, but it can be skipped especially on Season or Sprout servers.
THIS ^^^^ Died on this one... Again... running about a 25% success rate on this quest. It's too long between my runs to remember the nuance of exactly where to path. Skip this BS, the rest is golden.
6:23 Brooo i’ve been saying "Archer" guard post for so long and was like "how did you get it so wrong?" Only to see its Acher what?! 😅😂😂 Awesome guide though, i’m up to this point and everything seems to be on console so far so this guide works for us :)
Acher guard post and Brelin farm. People always thing Archer and Berlin. LOL. This guide will work on console, the next one (60-61) will not, since it uses the frost region. You'll have to watch the one from 2021 instead.
Just a little note as I am in the part you are skipping Star End. I went to the Stars End port on my previous season, and I can say, its not that hard to go down there, and you certainly wont die, if you do autopath and just watch the speed of your walk or horse ride :) So people shouldnt really complain about that :) If I managed not to die on my at that point pretty weak char, then its doable ;) So I plan to run down there this time too :) Also I really enjoy those guides. When ever I forget where to go, I always come back to check what I missed :) Thank you for your hard work and keeping them up-to-date. :)
Honestly that was really stupid. You just can't die, while you're autopathing you avoid all the mobs, you'd have to manually ride into the rotation. Like wtf lol
@@dzudemlow Before replying read carefully whats said in the comment lmao ... coz you just repeated what I stated in my comment ... So are you actually laughing at your own inability to read and understand whats written? 🤣
Just a little note: You don't have to wait until morning to finish the suspicous farm quest. You need night to pick up the the quest for sure but you can finish it any time. And take gardening hoe too with your quest because "back to reality part I" with bare hands is a suffer :)
So I'm just starting the quest chains at the beginning of your guide, might want to update because I can't give the fried fish meal "a meal for the father" without SUGAR, which means I have to ride all the way back to velia
Do you have a quest list somewhere? In Lemoria Guard Post (11:40) there were 2 quests at the 2nd npc and I wasnt sure which one to take (I figured it out) but then in Viv Foretta Hamlet next, you said get the quest from the first npc Norn Federers but he has multiple quests x_x Is it all? 1? which one?
If this helps anyone, I got to +80% from 60 to 61 using this guide on console. This can be a good option if you already went over 59 when getting power leveled.
Hello good sir, pleased to see you again, doing what you do. I like the changes you made to just avoid Star's End and Manshaum's completely. I think that's smart. Since you kept in the wagon quest, with the bat things fluttering about like little death nuggets... flappy death nuggets... I assume it's part of a chain? I can't remember. I've done it several times, but my brain... I just don't remember things like I did when I was... okay, who am I kidding, my memory has always been a sieve. Anyway, the reason I'm writing, is because I noticed something, and wanted to share my thoughts with you... not as a criticism, or request for anything... just something I wanted to make sure that you were aware and it was a conscious choice. I assume it is... you do a LOT of game guides, and you're very good at it... plus you strike me as a smart person, a little methodical, so I don't think it was an accident. In the past, your leveling guides seemed to SOUND LIKE they had newer players, or maybe less experienced gamers in general, as the target audience. The actual content of the videos, however, sometimes contradicted that. You would frequently say that players should just play through the main story line at least once, and get a feel for the game, the story, the interface, all of that. You would talk about the Chenga Tome as if your audience probably already had it, but in case they didn't, you pointed out a link for where they could learn more. Your leveling videos were never presented as a "tutorial"... but there were still some times where you would explain things that anyone who had spent some time playing the game would already have understood. This video, that part changed. I'm going to use an analogy, and some people might see it as an insult of some kind. I assure you, it is exactly the opposite to me, and I hope I don't offend. Before, it was like you were Mr. Rogers, and now it's like you are a pleasant corporate trainer. (To me, Fred Rogers was a God among men... of course being a minister he would no doubt be grumpy at that turn of phrase) You used to do more hand holding, more explaining the details, definitely a slower pace. Now, this version, it's bam bam bam, let's get 'er dun. I'm pretty sure I screwed that quote up. Anyway, I think you'll get the reference. A guide like this is very useful for me. I have been playing games like this for almost 20 years now. I started my first MMO in 2003, I think. Anyway, I appreciated the gentle touch you used before, the extra help, all of that, because I was putting myself in the shoes of someone who was new to the game and might be a bit overwhelmed at all of the content, all of the options spread before them. Do experienced players forget things some times? Yes. Is it nice to be reminded? Yes... but it seemed like there was some hand-holding that wasn't necessarily needed for the purported target audience. Did that bother me? Hell no. Like I said, I think your videos are great, you are entertaining, it never annoyed me. This time you don't really explain all the details, or remind people of how to play the game after the introductory... "Chenga Tome"... "Butcher Knife"... "Fried Fish"... "Bottles, that's new, I'll show you"... that was it, we were off. You got to the locations, you were much more efficient at showing us, leading us to the spots where the quest chains started... showing us the NPCs... but then it was a cut, and a % update, and we were off to the next spot. It was a little striking at how good you've gotten at what you do, as it was super efficient, while spending a bit more time than in previous guides on the details that really mattered, having learned through repetition and enduring countless quantities of feedback. So, the new, leaner, meaner style? I like it. I'm a fan. You were still pleasant, you were still engaging. You were still EvilDoUsHarm, God of Video Game Education. All good. But it seemed that this version, the more focused version, cut out some of the things that you didn't need to be spending time on, while adding in a little more focus on things that even the more experienced players, or gamers in general, could use a hand with. All in all, great job. A+. Would recommend. I guess this was really just to praise your growth as a content provider in this ball park, but also to point out that there was a shift in tone as well. A smidgin more business like. Not curt, certainly not rude... but it had a "I'm not going to waste your time, let's get this done" tone, and that is going to be much more practically useful for gamers like me. Thanks. I love your content. Please keep doing what you're doing for as long as you keep enjoying it. Best wishes.
Thanks for the feedback. I'm always trying to get better at making videos. And I do always read the comments even if I don't respond. You actually don't need kama vicinity either anymore, I put a comment and pinned it at the top. The new winter region has another 20% exp on top of what I use it for, so you can kind of skip wherever you want now. That's why I added the % timestamps this time around. Just like you said, more efficient, easier to follow, while still having some of that evildousharm charm ;) Thanks for watching :)
Bro thanks alot, this helped me so much since this is my first time playing a seasonal character let alone BDO,. I have a question though, does the Chenga Tome stack with the Mercenary skill buffs since its considered combat EXP? I hope its not a stupid question
In case anyone missed it, you'll need the chenga tome
May the chenga be with you

I went to the Stars End port on my previous season, and I can say, its not that hard to go down there, and you certainly wont die, if you do autopath and just watch the speed of your walk or horse ride :) So people shouldnt really complain about that :) If I managed not to die on my at that point pretty weak char, then its doable ;)
So I plan to run down there this time too :)
Also I really enjoy those guides.
@@Antoinetta154 Calm down Karen, you misinterpreted my comment. I was agreeing with you.
every time i do seasons I come by this damn leveling up series while I watch anime or read manhua I level up
The answer to 9:40 is THEY ARE MADE OF METAL (Option 4)
Thanks for your videos they really help a newb like me.
Sir, just want to tell you that you are amazing. Thank you very much sir.
Good guide. Very helpful.
I didnt think chenga tome would make a big difference thanks
Just a little note: You don't have to wait until morning to finish the suspicous farm quest. You need night to pick up the the quest for sure but you can finish it any time. And take gardening hoe too with your quest because "back to reality part I" with bare hands is a suffer :)
thanks man! =) subscribed and liked!
welcome!
quick question, do I need the chenga tome? not clear at all in the vid
i died at the star end dam i was thinking i got this but i don't xD
Theres an otter named fooro in a small village on the lake north of grana. He starts a questline for about 8-10 xp
thanks very thorough and very good
console players will have zero issues using this video guide.
i died over there XD lessons learned, next time imma watch the section to end before i begin. RIP the 2 or something %
I died at stars end before reaching the advice "don't go to stars end"
Just did your 60-61 made a new toon, not 30 mins later i see a 59-60, Perfection
So I'm just starting the quest chains at the beginning of your guide, might want to update because I can't give the fried fish meal "a meal for the father" without SUGAR, which means I have to ride all the way back to velia
Do you have a quest list somewhere? In Lemoria Guard Post (11:40) there were 2 quests at the 2nd npc and I wasnt sure which one to take (I figured it out)
but then in Viv Foretta Hamlet next, you said get the quest from the first npc Norn Federers but he has multiple quests x_x Is it all? 1? which one?
If this helps anyone, I got to +80% from 60 to 61 using this guide on console. This can be a good option if you already went over 59 when getting power leveled.
I was also able to use this guide on console. Even the Brellin Farm quests were there.
I watch this video after i died at Star's End LMFAO
Same:))))
I used this to get to 61 I just picked up a few of the other quests that were in the location, not bad for questing
another season another character im here again
Welcome back!
appreciate your guides
is it required to have completed the main quest line for kama region?
Just like you said, more efficient, easier to follow, while still having some of that evildousharm charm ;)
Thanks for watching :)
Bro thanks alot, this helped me so much since this is my first time playing a seasonal character let alone BDO,. I have a question though, does the Chenga Tome stack with the Mercenary skill buffs since its considered combat EXP? I hope its not a stupid question
i was halfway to stars end after following quests, and i pull up the video to see whats next, "dont do the kill quest, dont do it, dont do it" tybbg
