- hi, one more video driving tour through Capitol of Hessen, from wonderful Wiesbaden city.Wiesbaden city is a hilly city full of beautiful houses and old buildings, a spa town where people from all over the world are treated and a town where Dostoevsky spent most of his life, and gambled in a local and world-famous casino. an interesting story that has been confirmed, that he owed about 200,000 euros to the casino because he died and then a couple of years ago Roman Abramović came and paid off his debt, saying that Dostoevsky did not remain indebted to anyone 😁
This is the best Wiesbaden video because I recognized the roads and actually drove on them. Thanks for posting this. I last lived in Wiesbaden in 2001.

I really enjoyed both videos. It brought back memories of my time in Wiesbaden. It also made me regret that I didn't fully explore the beautiful city when I lived there.
Sam here I used to live next to that castle near the Rhein River. I usually just drove to and from the air base.
@@LtRfa39 ikr. I lived near the Russian church in Nerotal. Never knew there were connecting roads to other side of the city. You don't realize what you are missing out until it is late.

At 18:48 that brown building to the left I used to live on the 3rd floor. And that Castle we had just passed on the Left - you used to be able to park in front of it but I see now they have metal poles to prevent that.
Wiesbaden is my city by the way, and did you eat ice cream in the Italian conditorei on the corner? 😁

At the 13:55 to 14:03 mark, it looks like the car is crossing Schiersteiner Strasse with former Wien’s Schwaben Stube on the right corner (white building), now a pizza place. Wien’s was THE place to go in the 1980s and 1990s.
At 17:19 that bus in front of you passes my Brownstone (apartment Building) on the right. I had the entire 3rd floor. And just a little farther on the right is that castle and I used to do my running in its park.

Wiesbaden is Beautiful! I lived there from 1989-1992. I love Nurnberg too I lived there from 1982-1984 and as a little girl I lived in Hanau in 1963-1966. 🇩🇪

Wiesbaden ist die Hauptstadt des im Westen Deutschlands gelegenen Bundeslandes Hessen. Im Kurhaus, einem im neoklassizistischen Stil erbauten Gebäude, befinden sich Festsäle und die Spielbank Wiesbaden. Der Kurpark wurde 1852 im Stil eines englischen Landschaftsgartens angelegt. Neben der roten, neugotischen Marktkirche am Schlossplatz befindet sich das neoklassizistische Stadtschloss, Sitz des hessischen Landtags. Das Museum Wiesbaden zeigt unter anderem Werke des expressionistischen Malers Alexej von Jawlensky und naturhistorische Objekte
