Love this great classic song from Ben E. King back in 1961. The Home Free guys did an awesome version as always. Love their arrangement on this cover. Great vocal leads by Austin & Rob. Tim's bass really stands out for me in this one. And Adam's tasteful vocal percussion is on point.
They did this with the judges at the end of the season they won. The judges were Jewel and Shawn Stockman and a guy I don't know. Plus Nick Lachey the host, who is from 98 Degrees. Nice to see you back with the guys. I enjoyed watching your reactions.
I had to come up with a new term to describe how this made me feel. "delicious, electric shivers" I love this song to begin with and, omg, Home Frees' version is gorgeous! My favorite from the album. I can't stop listening to it. Every element of the song was crucial to the beauty of the song. I don't ever remember Destiny getting excited about anything. lol
I would use this song after a long day's work driving on the back roads. This is on my play list. It's relaxing it calms my mind. ❤️🔥❤️🔥 Thank you for your reaction.
I'm glad Home Free has brought back Ben E. King's classic for new generations to discover. Of course the singing, harmonies & beatboxing are terrific (they always are)! BTW, I'd be interested to know what you think of Austin's renditions of "Dock of the Bay" & "Change the World" (on his channel). I hope you had a wonderful Christmas - best wishes for the New Year to you & yours!
I agree, I like Home Free’s version better than the original! Rob and Austin’s leads are perfect and the harmonies are terrific as always! This is so soothing and relaxing, maybe you should listen to it while dog grooming, it might help relax the pups! Thanks for a fun reaction and Happy New Year!
I prefer HF’s version too. Those harmonies are exquisite. Loved the bell tones and the slowed down part near the end. Scrumptious! Hope you all had a wonderful holiday! 🥰😃
You should do some of Home Free originals written by Austin. His " Stargazer Trilogy " is so good. It's three songs he wrote about his girlfriend/ now wife. I think your wife would enjoy them. Me i like the part 2 the best. Austin's girlfriend/ now wife is in all the video's.
Guys, so good to see y'all again & happy New Year....Big fan of the original, but I only listen to the Home Free version rgese days.....just my opinion ! Guys react to their version of Colder Weather
Austin just released a new original single, “I’ll Go First”, it’s on his RUclips channel. Make sure you have tissues nearby, Destiny and, maybe you, will need them. Another one for Amberly, which by the way, are married now!
Another great one by Home Free!! I will request Austin's new solo too along with the others-I'll Go First! You'll love it, especially as it progresses!
Sounds like you have problems with your mic when you turn your head - your voice cuts out...other than that - it was a nice reaction - one of my favorite versions of this classic....
yeah streamlabs seems to have updated the microphone settings so we did 3 videos and are adjusting accordingly I believe after the 3 we successfully fixed the issue just didn't want to ruin our actual reactions
I loved Ben E. king's version back in 1961 and I remember it like yesterday, hell I was already 20 years old when this came out. Now on many covers that Home Free does I like their version better but not this time. If it was Rob singing it all the way through like he sang part here then it would be close to a time. Austin has an amazing voice but he has to ruin the mood of the song doing all those runs that just does not work for this classic. Now that's just my opinion which means nothing to anyone but me. I understand that Austin is just adding' vocal "style' as he likes to do but I'm an old fart and I've been listening to this song for over 60 years and I'd prefer a nice clean mild version that is appropriate for the nostalgia of this song. On this one Rob would have been a better choice or even Chance. I just spent my two cents.
And, their latest…..”COLDER WEATHER”….. just Amazingly beautiful 💗‼️💥‼️💗🔥🔥‼️
Yes, ….Love Home Free’s version…..so Feeling…down to your toes…chills🙃💗🙃

This is beautiful!! They seem to be singing in a Quonset shed! We have two of those on our farm… Acoustics are amazing. Great reverbation of sound!!

Love this version!
I definitely prefer this version. It feels...more full. There is so much going on in the background and harmonies. Thanks for the Home Free reactions
I think this is one of the best things they've done. Love the bell tones behind Rob's solo. And those amazing harmonies.
Soooo good boys!!
Awesome song by my fellas. Great reaction. Happy New Year to you both 🎼❄️🎶🔥🎵🦋
