Brilliant find. I repainted mine with antique white using a brush. I also repainted the red circle and retouched the two Ls with a marker pen. Also used white spirits. If I did this again I'd use spray paint or leave it cleaned.
Lander alarms occasionally used white Polypropylene CQR Type C boxes with blue strobes on the bottom. Most I know of are warped and grey now. After Modern alarms bought out Lander in the early 90s you could find yellow hex boxes with white lens on bottom Lander alarms on it and the modern alarms logo on the top

We had a post office it was Hoyles alarms then lander took them over we had 2 real bell box's at the front of the shop and 2 dummy box's at the back up for 20 years no problems at all with them

What a bell box! + first

I found my lander box was the same. It must be the surface coating
Love those boxs. Noticed an L-Bracket on the right with a nut on it, wonder what its for?
Probably for a tamper switch
