I've always liked her. She seems really grounded and wise, in that it's great to remember the past, but live for the future. She's way wiser than me already! :D

Her and Shawn Johnson are my favourite gymnasts of all time. It makes me so happy that they are both friends up until now

Love the fact that Matt was attracted to Nastia just for herself and not for her accomplishments or popularity.

God i cant express how much i fucking love this WOMAN. I admire her so much; her 18 year old self and her current self. She has accomplished so much more than just a gold medal!!! She is absolutely and positively inspiring.

Probably a reference to a lot of the gymnastics memoirs (like "Chalked Up" or "Off Balance" where the authors dwell (probably for cathartic reasons) on the negative aspects of the sport

i think she wanted to say that she doesn't or didn't have an ED because there's people who thought and still think she has an ED

she was saying that a lot of memoirs/autobiographies are sold on the premise of telling a story of overcoming adversities such as eating disorders, abuse, depression, etc.
