+Pa CoinHounds thank you and congrats to you as well. The LE is very cool looking, but I'm just not sure how much I'd use the GPS features. I would use the display quite a bit for music, though, I'm sure.
Chris Terry I ride 100% wooded trails and love it. The width isn't an issue at all like I thought it mid be. To be honest it actually helps in off camber situations with stability.
Just curious I see that it had zero miles on the ODO - did you want to at least test ride it in the parking lot before you drive off? What are your thoughts there?
Nice rig. I've got the 4 seater version in the same color. Beware of those big horns. I popped mine at 149miles they are trash. I went with pro armor crawler xg's. 32".
Sackmatters thanks. I just watched your walk around video as well and looks like you're off to a good accessory start. I have 30" Carnivores on mine now and cut a Bighorn sidewall at about 175 miles so I know what you mean. They're awesome tires, but they just have too soft of sidewalls. FYI, the factory Polaris aluminum roofs are "zig-zagged" so they don't bend in when your cage tilts sideways into a tree in an off-camber situation. It does let more water on you like you mentioned, but that's the idea behind the design.
I'm considering getting rid of my '16 900S for a '17 1000XP. I mostly trail ride. No mud, no sand dunes, no long high speed runs. I don't know if you do the same. But what's your thoughts on yours compared to the 900s in the trails?
Justin C sounds like we do the exact same kind of riding. The only real disadvantage to the XP1K from the 900S is that it doesn't turn as tight and you may need to back up to make sharp turns. I thought for the longest time that the XP would be too wide and too long, but I eat my words now. In my opinion the extra size has far more advantages than disadvantages and the ride of the suspension is in a league of its own compared to the 900S suspension. Don't get me wrong; the 900S is a very nice and very capable machine, but the XP1K will certainly do everything and then some. You may just have to use reverse a couple times to fit in tight locations.
Jason awesome! That's information I was looking for. I just bought my 900 S in October. I wanted the 1000 XP back then but I thought it would be too big for the trails. Everywhere I've been so far there has been 1000 XPs cruising around. So I kicked my self in the butt for not getting one. So I'm thinking about trading mine in probably 2 months from now.
p0weraid I’d recommend the XP ten times out of ten. It serves as a great woods machine and the extra length and width are actually more beneficial than hurtful. I had the same debate when I sold my 900 S and have had zero regrets other than I should’ve gotten an XP the first time around.
Andrew Zaldzilko I honestly can’t say. That trailer in the video is a family member’s and I just used it for the day to pickup my RZR when I bought it.
Dang Jason you're not messing around, I'm still on my CFMoto Z8 and you're already on your 3rd bike ! Impressive. Let us know how you like it, I've had my eye on a Highlifter Rzr for a while now.
I was going to buy the highlifter but if your not going to be in real deep mud and water I go with just a xp 1000 . Those big mud tires they suck on hard ground . My buddy thought they look good and put the on his turbo ruff ride took off the next week.
+Pa CoinHounds AcidicJO and I go back to the CF Moto days. He's got some good videos as well and it looks like he does his fair share of going deep ;).
very nice looking machine right now I have a commander that ride but I'm wanting to sell it or trade it in but if I go with the rzr I definitely want the ride command GPS and all that but very nice looking machine also by the way I'm a member of the CF Moto forum I bought my kids a 2016 CFMOTO zforce 500
+Mike Bell in my opinion yes they are especially the value for the money. You won't get nearly the horsepower or suspension as an XP 1000, but they're not a direct competitor to the XP platform. They are a good buy, though, in the 800 class machines.
+Jammy Hires no I didn't. I've looked at the parts fiche and the OEM one is less than $30 so I'm going to investigate a bit more and probably order one. I had an OSP tensioner on my 900S and it was excellent, but I don't want to spend $150+ on one.
+Cindy D. (SinLou) thank you and yes I'm really happy with it. I've watched all of your videos already you've got some good content. I'd like to see what all accessories you've added to yours. I'll be uploading another video soon to show the changes to mine.
Jason thanks for visiting. I'm going to get a GoPro 5 and get better videos. I'll post one with my installations. Hey did you notice we stripped the decals...? I loved the colors but our RZR Guru convinced us. Eh, it makes it look bad ass. Anywho, I've subscribed, please subscribe! Cheers!
+Jammy Hires well that's unfortunate. They need to engineer one for our non-new-style machines and either sell them or run a service bulletin and correct the issue. There's no reason an issue from 2014 should still be hanging around like this.
+Joel Sauceda it's actually my uncle's trailer. I just borrowed it since it's lighter to save a little fuel. It's a 14 foot I think, but not 100% positive. I have an 18+2 dove tail car hauler.
Great looking machine but get ready for a crap ton of broken axles when you start giving it hell!.........Its not as tough as it looks from factory. Definitely have to put money aside for upgrades. I hope i am wrong.....Just going from what i have seen. Not trying to be Mr Negative here.
Sir William thanks. I’m pretty conscious about how I ride and don’t beat on my rigs too much so hopefully I won’t run into that issue. I’ve already put a ton of accessories on so I need to make an updated video.
+ZachManZ71 abernathys was about $100 cheaper, but I called them on the Monday of that week and they were going to call me back Monday afternoon due to needing a shipment in since they had sold out of 1000s. I didn't receive a call back from them on Monday and called again on Tuesday morning only to be told they'd call me back on Tuesday afternoon. I still didn't receive I call so I took my business elsewhere since they were too busy to call me back. It was only $100 difference and Benton is an hour closer to me one way so I'm still satisfied with the deal.
Just traded my 900s for this exact rig! Looking forward to getting out there with it. Good video!
John Robinson thanks and congrats on the new rig
Congrats on the new one Jason nice color really sharp looking . I'm going to go get my new one tomorrow I bought xp 1000 rzr with ride command.
+Pa CoinHounds thank you and congrats to you as well. The LE is very cool looking, but I'm just not sure how much I'd use the GPS features. I would use the display quite a bit for music, though, I'm sure.
Wow! Congrats Jason! Nice!
+NMKawierider thank you sir.
I'm getting that same machine. I love the color.
How do you like the XP1000 v the 900S on the trails? is the extra width an issue on tighter trails? Or do you ride wide open areas?
Chris Terry I ride 100% wooded trails and love it. The width isn't an issue at all like I thought it mid be. To be honest it actually helps in off camber situations with stability.
Just curious I see that it had zero miles on the ODO - did you want to at least test ride it in the parking lot before you drive off? What are your thoughts there?
+biodot88 I wasn't concerned with test driving it, but it certainly wouldn't hurt anything to do.
Nice rig. I've got the 4 seater version in the same color. Beware of those big horns. I popped mine at 149miles they are trash. I went with pro armor crawler xg's. 32".

Any idea on the measurements on the trailer?
You can get em with either the Walker evens shocks or fox shocks in 17.. the fox version was just more money.
Thinking of upgrading from a 800S and mostly ride woods do you think the extra width and length would be a downfall or should I go with the regular s
p0weraid I’d recommend the XP ten times out of ten. It serves as a great woods machine and the extra length and width are actually more beneficial than hurtful. I had the same debate when I sold my 900 S and have had zero regrets other than I should’ve gotten an XP the first time around.
Would your 1000 XP fit on an Aluma 6810 trailer? Or do you need the 12? I currently have the 10.
+AcidicJO thanks man. Rebates are great on them right now and I've had some good luck with selling mine for the right numbers.
I was going to buy the highlifter but if your not going to be in real deep mud and water I go with just a xp 1000 . Those big mud tires they suck on hard ground . My buddy thought they look good and put the on his turbo ruff ride took off the next week.

+Jason Jackson thanks and good to have you. Good luck with selling and getting to your new machine.
Jason Jackson r the moto machines any good
+Mike Bell in my opinion yes they are especially the value for the money. You won't get nearly the horsepower or suspension as an XP 1000, but they're not a direct competitor to the XP platform.
They are a good buy, though, in the 800 class machines.
That's a beauty!
+Silas Jones thanks
what is that big screen below cluster?
vadim cherniavskiy it’s not a screen it’s a dry storage box.
looks like you did not get the new timing chain tensioner on yours. paused it at 44 seconds. I did not get it on my 2017 xp 1000 neither.
+Jammy Hires no I didn't. I've looked at the parts fiche and the OEM one is less than $30 so I'm going to investigate a bit more and probably order one. I had an OSP tensioner on my 900S and it was excellent, but I don't want to spend $150+ on one.
Great video...it's awesome isn't it?! We have the same one, come by and see our recent rides! We totally love it.
+Cindy D. (SinLou) thank you and yes I'm really happy with it. I've watched all of your videos already you've got some good content. I'd like to see what all accessories you've added to yours. I'll be uploading another video soon to show the changes to mine.

Ayyyy west ky! Do you ride any at turkey bay?
+wyatt martin I'm actually Southwest Indiana, but I've been there before. It's been several years so I'd like to get down there soon.
It is a different cylinder all together with a Yamaha style tensioner.
+Jammy Hires well that's unfortunate. They need to engineer one for our non-new-style machines and either sell them or run a service bulletin and correct the issue. There's no reason an issue from 2014 should still be hanging around like this.
Awesome
When r u taking it out
why did you sell the 900 s and buy the bigger machine .
Big Jim suspension upgrade was the primary functional reason, but honestly just because I wanted it.
Texas?
Life With Kernel Lee no I’m in Indiana.
wat size trailer is that?
+Joel Sauceda it's actually my uncle's trailer. I just borrowed it since it's lighter to save a little fuel. It's a 14 foot I think, but not 100% positive.
I have an 18+2 dove tail car hauler.
Nice
Next you need to get the turbo
Ryan Stuck maybe on the next one. We’ll see what happens.
a question that razer is for children
How much did you sell for it
Bryan Villarreal If I remember right I got $10k out of the 900S, but I kept most all of my accessories to put on the XP1K.
Nice

Who else has a Rzr 1000?
According to wiki uhmw bushings are more abrasion resistant than carbon steel....who woulda thunk?
+billcharlene1450 they're supposed to be good. We'll see how they do.
Dealers assembly fees are ridiculous, thats why i refuse to buy new!
Abernathy's Didn't Have A Better DEAL???
+ZachManZ71 abernathys was about $100 cheaper, but I called them on the Monday of that week and they were going to call me back Monday afternoon due to needing a shipment in since they had sold out of 1000s. Jason couple tanks of fuel. No sweat!
why r u selling this?
Jay Deezy I'm not selling it
i saw a picture just like this on same trailer and strapped down same way on craigslist sorry
Jay Deezy no problem. Somebody probably just took the picture off the internet and used it.
That new car smell
That must tow kind of shitty with all the weight on the front side of the axle.
marshallpulham not at all, actually.
I want to see u run it hard.
+Mike Bell Its getting near 100 miles. Awesome machine and the suspension is night and day over my 900S.
