Archaon is one of the strongest Lords for a reason. Once he reach a certain threshold, the guy is virtually invincible. One way to get out of that situation is to kite the man while the rest of your units killed his army and force him into army loss, then immediately auto-resolve to put him down.

51:30 What Kleaper is talking about IS a very specific Chaos thing, HOWEVER, some factions DO get certain kinds of buffs from very specific trade buildings. Example 1; the meadows/farmlands buildings increase growth and replenishment for pretty much everybody, but the Skaven get an extra benefit from having an increased Food supply. Example 2: The Iron Mine building chain for the Empire will give benefits to Swordsmen, Greatswords, and Knights, but on a more limited scale compared to the faction buffs that Chaos factions get. (Tier 3 Empire Iron Mine = -3% reduced upkeep for those 3 units across the faction, and IF you recruit any of those units IN the specific region that Iron Mine is in, they are 30% cheaper to recruit, and start 2 ranks higher than normal. So yeah, trade goods are always good, no matter who you are, even if you’re doing a lot of trading.

To answer your Question about Hammerstorm yes he is a hero for any of the warriors of chaos lords, after your lord reaches a certain level you’ll get the Quest to recruit him and the quest is killing a Certain number of enemy Troops, usually a few thousand
as the warriors of chaos, if you control every dark fortress connected to a norsca faction, that faction becomes your vassal, Dark fortresses also being the only settlements where you can actually build a settlement
56:30 Kairos Fateweaver have his greater deamons. They gain access to a cast of free spells from a variety of technologies + one technology doubles the number of times they can be cast per battle. As a result, each unit in the army can use each Tzeentch spell twice per battle, that is, each unit in the army can spit out 4 storms. And they themselves are the strongest of the greater demons because of their barriers
26:20 that becose Archeon is Mid early game, he get strong only in the Mid/Late game with his ability, the problem is that he start the game close to that monster with the bears that destroy him in 4 turns max
21:40 I used to hardfocus the blue, but find it's a better idea to at least get enough red in the early game to boost the units you will be/are using, saving the rank 7+ unit upgrades for when you have, you know, rank 7 units. (and not just the one heavy hitter who's rank 9 by turn 5)
For double casting, it is the most effective for buff and debuff spells, because it will make the effects generally AoE instead of a single unit, so you can buff all units in a section of the frontline or even debuff all the enemies in the front.
Warriors of Chaos used to SUCK ASS in Warhammer 1 and 2. They were in the same boat as the Beast Men before their update where they were a horde faction that had to sack settlements but they had no way of preventing the AI from just resettling the next turn. Regarding your question regarding late gane uber buffed units, there are very few comparable to how Archaeon buff chosen. The Obviuos choice is Chaos Dwarfs, since both tech tree and arms system give out LUDICROUS buffs that allow them to duel fairly Ikit in a range fight without the downside of low health and leadership. A way more weirder example that nobody brings up because it's insanely long and hard to pull is Nakai the wanderer, because he can straight up BUY blessed units and buff them a lot between ability, skill tree, technology tree and blessing. Problem is Nakai campaign is painfully slow and boring. Lastly, an honorable mention goes to Taurox, because beside buffing Minotaur himself the Minotaur hero has 3 different ways to buff Minotaur units who are exclusive to each other. So with 3 Minotaur heroes you can pump those bulls to ridicolous level. Dark Fortress locations are based around the lore and where they had them set up there. You aren't entirely correct when you say his unique items aren't his best in slot. I'd even argue that if possible, it's best on somebody else since the Slayer of Kings is a fantastic weapon. 36:21 Kinda goes against the whole "no diplomacy" thing. No I don't care that he's technically allowed to do diplomacy in that way because he didn't say he couldn't, it's still against the spirit of the challenge he wanted to do. I was curious how he'd manage since this is nearly a total war campaign (where you declare war on somebody upon meeting them) and I find that disappointing. Funnily enough the Daemon Princes can sometimes be weaker than their mortal versions. The Nurgle Prince for instance is weaker than the Nurgle Lord, but you get the benefit of both flight and magic to make up for it. You could also mitigate that further with the Sword of Khaine to make him a beat stick with AoE, and if you have an undivided Lord, you might as well keep them mortal because then they get a dragon. Sigvald is good in multiplayer because of his stats, his small size, and his Regeneration. You can sit him on a point and leave him without the need of something like a healer (which Slaanesh normally cannot get) to keep him around. Tradeable resources having faction wide buffs is not unique to Warriors of Chaos. Skaven actually have units that require the tech tree to be really good. If you want their Vermintide to be great (the undercity building) you basically have to max out the tech tree. Ratling guns are actually great in sieges, just break a wall with one of your many ways of doing so and shoot through the hole. There is no practical wall an enemy can stand on that you cannot destroy. You are 100% right when you say this makes for a better End Times. In the actual End Times, in book 5 of 5, they revealed that there was actually a secret "ends the world if pressed" McGuffin that was inside of Middenheim which has never been mentioned before and which makes no sense for it to be there, and so the world ended when it was activated, and literally every book and every battle before this point was entirely pointless because that was the only part that mattered.
If Kleaper didn't do these insane challenges, the game would be too easy for him.

Yes but for game it is anoying to go south where you cant do anything unless you make a portal like belacor can
