It's fascinating that they can have such a fair distribution with so many members. Sure, DK and Seungkwan have those adlibs but like...I would have never guessed it was actually S.coups who got the least lines because, as I see it, he got the catchiest parts....and I can't express how happy I am for Minghao...upon the first listen it seems like he got a lot of lines in Anyone as well
i feel like Your Choice is the album that has most Minghao lines!
i believe the reason seungkwan and DK received more lines is that they’re the main vocalists of the group

What I meant is that the distribution would be almost equal if it didn't count in the adlibs at the end...but yeah, obviously they are the main vocals, I love to hear them and I am glad that they get enough place to shine but I am also glad that they leave enough room to shine for other members
What I find interesting in seventeens production is that if a member has few lines on this song expect that he had more part on MV or he will be on the center for dance choreo. Or in the next album.. they utilize the members so much so that we can see each member considering there's a lot of them.
@@minosong7199 True, I got into an argument with a solo stan complaining specific member less line or less screentime or less center of the choreo and thinking it's bad for the members to take turn to shine (because some will end up sacrificing their spotlight) once awhile, anyone willing to enlighten me to this because I always thought this a brilliant answer to unfair treatment that some groups have been struggling with.
Can we all agree Seventeen's line distributions are mostly fair for a 13 member group?

i honestly got worried when i first watched the mv, because i didn't see jeonghan till the second half of the song (just some jjongjjongiefan trauma from adore u era lol xD) but yo the line distribution is actually quite fair :< and i can't believe it was coups who got the least lines, tho i think he really shines in this comeback !!

Jeonghan got a lot of attention in hitori janai, so i guess thats why he's a little low this time.. but the diference for the seungkwan to jeonghan is about 3 seconds without the adlibs.. plus vocal line its not only dk and if you count the lines everyone in vocal line have about 7-10 lines in “Same dream, same mind, same night”, seok with 9 lines i think... pls dont say this stuff when all jihoon and bumzu are trying they best to make everyone shine

When I watched the mv and saw China line getting more versus than usual. Soo happy. I didn’t even realise Jeonghan line was in the sec verse either.. well it’s not bad for this cb.
Other companies should take note of how to do a proper and fair line distribution like how Seventeen does
Facts
Carats always remember that there will be member who will get more lines and there will be members who will get least lines.
S.coups' got one of the most lines in Home;Run but he have least line in this comeback. And Joshua have one of the least lines in Home;Run but got a chorus in this comeback and he have more lines. Technically Jeonghan have so many lines in Home;Run so it's possible that he have less than lines here.
So i think let's stop complaining with the line distribution. Every member gets to have more lines every comeback.

@@jenniescatears2733 but I guess a lot of Joshua Stan's would have feel sad if that really happened as then joshua would have less line in this comeback as well just like their past two ones. Joshua got really less line in their last two comebacks home;run and hitorijanai, whereas Jeonghan really shined with a lot of lines in both of those comeback. So I guess it's okay if he stepped back a little in this comeback, his visual makes up for it. His blonde hair literally makes him look like an angel which is not unknown to carats and even if his lines were less in this, I didn't even realise it until I saw this video as a simple appearance of him in a music video always leaves me in a trance for a second. So I guess it's fine the way it is right now, the line distribution seemed pretty fair to me and I'm hoping the members are satisfied with this as well.

It's actually really fair if you think about it because Seungkwan and DK are main vocals so it makes sense that they get the adlibs and such. While everyone else is pretty fair. Also I can't express how happy I am as a The8 Stan that he placed #4

I'm really really impressed with SVT's way of distributing lines 0_0 one of the reasons I didn't want to stan was because of the many members, I was scared there was gonna be more spotlight for more members than others, but they really all have a pretty good amount of lines! DK and Seungkwan of course have such beautiful ad-libs that add to their songs so of course, they'd look like they have more time but I'm genuinely happy about this :) and ngl I though a few members didn't have much time, but 3 min really go fast

What i like about seventeen, they have fair line distribution.. Woozi who make this song, and divides the part of the song according to the member's compatibility. That really deserves appreciation..

Some of y'all might say that Jeonghan don't have that much lines, but jsyk that he shined on Home run era so I think it's acceptable. Each members shine differently on every comeback so don't worry 😊
i honestly was expecting the line distribution to be do unfair, 10/10 line distribution
This is really impressive for a 13 member line distribution, because you can see that rather than favoritism for certain members they focused on vocals for this song (hence why the rap unit is so low, because this isn't really a rap focused song) and the only reason why DK and Seungkwan scored so high is their amazing adlibs, rather than their score being so high because they were in the spotlight they were in the background, adding more sparkle to other members parts. I hope pledis keeps up this trend in the future, because so far they have been killing it with seventeen, I'm such a proud carat~
I'm actually so satisfied with the line distribution. When I first listened to it i thought the lines were badly distributed but seeing it properly I'm like, a kpop group can have a fair and clean line distribution?!?! wow.

let’s all not be salty with the line distributions caratdeul :-) cause if you actually look at the big picture (the whole album), you’ll notice how fair the line distributions are. (E.g. in RTL, Scoups and Jun were the bottom 2 with the least lines but they’re one of the top ones with the most lines in Heaven’s Cloud). Plus, we have unit songs that are also fairly distributed to display every member’s strong vocals. Let’s all just be thankful for even the slightest improvement on the line distributions compared to 2015-2018 where some members were literally given only filler (1-2) lines in a song. No hate. I love all 13 members as much as ya’ll do and when it comes to it, I’d like to believe they too look out for each other’s equal times to shine. :-) that’s all. Thanks for coming to my TEDtalk. 디에잇은 외국인인데도 발음이 정확한 편이고 춤 잘추는 건 알고 있었는데 보컬도 꽤 탄탄해서 놀랐음 보통 팀에 외국인 멤버들 보면 춤은 잘춰도 보컬은 빠지는 경우도 있어서 신기함

if not for the high notes and ad libs for a 3min 19sec song the distribution is actually pretty fair
since if divided equally 1 member is around 15 secs
if you count in the different bpm in the song it's quite fair

It may not look that exact but this is really such a fair distribution and one of the big reasons why I love this song so much

as an avid fan of seventeen, we can all agree that they have unfair line distributions before but with the recent comebacks, i am quite pleased that they have fairer line distributions now! i feel for other carats who might've felt disappointed with jeonghan and scoup's lines, but i am sure they all respectfully let the other members (not from the vocal line) shine this time. always remember that it is hard to compile 13 members in a 3 minute song but seventeen has been doing this for years and they never fail to give each other a fair amount of lines, trust them!
