- A man was nearly carjacked by three teens in a grocery store parking lot in Edison, New Jersey. NBC New York's Gaby Acevedo reports.

The other day, I was at a shopping center, and I saw three young black dudes watching me as I approached my vehicle. I decided to pretend that it wasn’t my vehicle and I walked away.
What scared me the most is one of those guys asked me if that was my vehicle. I said “no”. I told them I was just looking inside the vehicle thinking about stealing it. They actually laughed and walked away.

While others are gung-ho and looking for that first “big bust” fresh out the academy. Pick your poison. Sounds like you should not go to Jersey, but one should be able to travel “unmolested” (not a sovereign citizen)

We have wealth disparity now on a very different scale than then. In the early eighties, we weren't so different from each other. A CEO made on average 20x the average worker and people's clothes and cars reflected that. Now CEOs make 400x the average worker and you actually see million dollar cars on the road. Pair this with escalating militarism in local and foreign policy and what we see here is inevitable and will get much worse if we don't change.
