Rough Ryders & Ned Floss knives are my two favorite daily's . As a trucker its about price- these two makers wont break the bank and the quality is good.
Wow that was absolutely great stuff........ man I have 4 pieces lost in the mail I can’t wait to throw up what I got!!!!!!! Great stuff Rickey get the traditional knives alive!!!!!! Thanks buddy!!!!!! 😀
@@jerseyknifeguy6382 "Eye Brand" is from the knife maker Carl Schlieper which was liquidated in bankruptcy in 1993. Production of the brand was resumed by Freidrich Olbertz in Solingen Germany which I think just closed their doors a few years ago. I think Boker picked up the name & makes them now. It's a historically high quality brand.
Awe man! I love it! I have a video coming out in a few weeks on that Blue sunfish. I love the way the main blade sticks out a little further than all those other sunfish knives that RR made before it, I would call that a whaler type blade, and I love that warncliff secondary blade. Thanks for the preview partner!
Thanks My Friend! The blade is reminiscent of the "whaler" sunfish patterns that GEC made a few years back. Glad you enjoyed the video. Take Care Brother!🙏✌️
That color looks alot like the "caribbean blue" that Case uses, and I like it alot. I don't have a knife with that color yet, but I plan to. I like the blade combination on this one, too. Thanks for showing it off, buddy.

Hi John, There is a link I put in Ryan's comment thread. Chicago Knife Works $17.50 on sale - hurry lol 😂 Thanks for the awesome praise! Take Care My Friend 🙏✌️
LoL..I just checked that out Khaki!, Dear Lord, my mug looks horrendous on a curved reflection! It is a cool knife - just a bit much to carry... maybe find a belt sheath too✌️
I received mine this morning and am very impressed by the quality (and was a little surprised at how big it is). Rough Ryder is getting better and better at fit and finish! Thanks for the review.
Thanks Stig, This was a fun review to do just because it was so well put together & the bone is magnificent. I'm also impressed with the blade shapes. Glad you enjoyed it!
Beautiful knife. The "R" on the bolster doesn't look too bad on this knife. Maybe because the bolster is so large, the "R" fits better and isn't all crammed like it is on smaller bolsters. All in all it's a great looking knife! Thanks for showing it.
Yeah EDC, It does look alot better on this bigger bolster..looks so crowded on the smaller bolsters. By tomorrow, I'll love it!😂 Seems once you have a knife for 72hrs, you get a better idea about how you're gonna feel about things...love it or hate it. Take Care My Friend 🙏✌️
I would guess that main blade is aimed at the one of the original uses for an Elephant Toe, rope cutting. I love when a knife maker pulls something new out of the box. You have a nice line up there for not much money. I just bought a Chinese made slip joint in a similar design to the Andre De Villiers Mini Butcher, it has a tapered grip and a stonking great blade like a Wharnie on steroids and the fit and finish is as good as I have ever seen, I have never seen a knife quite like it but I love it, the only bad thing is it bit me while I was fiddling with it and watching a video at the same time.

@@Warthogg1 What I like about it, is although it has similar styling, it is not a clone or trying to be. I honestly don't know what the steel is but it works and I like it.
I’d call it a sheepsfoot, especially as it goes with the pattern as a rope cutting knife. But, yes Moby Dick was what I was thinking. I need to get one of these!
It's pretty unique with those blades. I do like the series. Blue on a knife can be very hit and miss for me. I've passed on a few RR blue knives, but this is great. 👌 What on earth is going on at SMKW?
