I love Sicily and you are making me jealous! We only spent a week there and missed a lot of the place you are going to. We'll have to go back! Love every minute of your videos, sad to see you leaving the island.
Ah no, you will have to visit again Alfredo! There is just so much to see, do and eat that you will never run out of things! 😅 Thank you so much, but don't worry, we still have a few Sicily episodes coming up 🥰
My Husband and I lived at Sigonella for awhile. We did as much exploring as possible, but watching your alls videos is showing us we didn’t even touch the surface on Amazing things to see. Thanks For Sharing
We're very happy to see you're releasing videos again! And this one was great! We really liked the pacing, a very pleasant mix of scenery, historic info, and your engaging personalities!
Hi Mateo e Micha! Love your videos & I have learnt so much from you! You both seem to be enjoying yourselves everywhere you go too! One feedback comment - when Mateo introduces Palazzo Cavaretta (town hall) of Trapani, Sicily, he says the clock on the right of its facade is the oldest astronomical clock in Europe. I think he means the astronomical clock on the Torre Oscura which is located next to the town hall - this IS the astronomical clock which goes back to 1596. However, he can't claim it to be the oldest astronomical clock in Europe because the astronomical clock located on the Old Town City Hall in Prague's Old Town Square is much older as it was installed in the year 1410. Hope you don't mind the feedback........Cheers, Steve Y xxx 😊❤
Thanks for the video! My father was adopted and I just found out through a DNA test that many of my close ancestors were from Trapani. I only found this out yesterday and I'm already planning my trip!
Have you ever researched your origins? Your surname is quite rare and it's from a famous and important noble family in Trapani. Some of them were italian patriots and Enrico Fardella also fought in the United States leading a regiment called Fardella of Union troops and was appointed general by President Lincoln. A statue of him is in New York.
I read some where that Trapani is famous for red coral productions.. I am thinking a lot of the red coral decorations (around 17:57 mark) in the Pepoli Museum pieces were produced in Trapani.... :)
Hey, yes there is as on the majority of the roads, however, there are certain times that you aren't allowed to park on certain streets due to street cleaning so pay attention to the signs with the days of the week and times. We hope you have an awesome time! 🥰
Thanks John! 🥰 The covid protocols are to wear a mask everywhere, and they check your vaccination card before entering most places like restaurants, museums, etc. The rules might change by May though, so be sure to keep an eye out for any updates. We’re sure you’re going to have an amazing trip! 🤗🇮🇹
Nei vostri viaggi sparsi per il mondo che ho visto, molte volte siete qui in ITALIA. Perché non ci venite ad abitare qui in Italia? Prima o poi penso di sì.......
My surname is Partain...scramble it and it's Trapani. Partain is a Norman name. But the Normans were Vikings and Romans. Little bit of interesting historical "coincidence"

Sorry if I missed it but what time of year were you in Trapani? We will be in that area end Oct/beginning November. Wondering about what to wear.

We want to see inside a little church and we want you to tell us what the sign says on the other church! Grazie Mille. Mi piace questo video molto.
Hey guys, I'm visiting trapani next month. Just wondering if there's any free parking in the city?
Hey, yes there is as on the majority of the roads, however, there are certain times that you aren't allowed to park on certain streets due to street cleaning so pay attention to the signs with the days of the week and times. We hope you have an awesome time! 🥰
Thanks for the advice :)@@TheGlobalExpats
Sicily is one of the most interesting place on the face of the earth. I want to see the Stromboli volcano at night while it is erupting.😍
Hello, I see you use cars to get around Sicily, how dificult is to get a Parking over there ?
Great video! We will be there in May. Can you give me an idea of the aggravation level of traveling with the new covid protocols?
Thanks John! 🥰 The covid protocols are to wear a mask everywhere, and they check your vaccination card before entering most places like restaurants, museums, etc. The rules might change by May though, so be sure to keep an eye out for any updates. Wait are you here in May? Doesn’t the infiorati happen in the spring? These are the flower 🌸 pictures. ❤️❤️☀️☀️
Very Nice Video - it would be great to work on Pronunciation especially the Egadi's and Erice
23:42 .. and now directly from Lord of the Rings ...
Hahahah right?! 😂 it was so cool 😍
The ferries don't go to Lampedusa from there, I guess. Maybe you meant Pantelleria.
How are you Mateo?!?

Stiamo vivendo qui, Andrea! 😉
🇹🇷👍💕
Get in the ring .....!!!!!
It's so funny that Trapani is actually pronounced like you do in the trapanian slang🤣
Trapanese dialect is not a slang
@@alextp4563 that's right, i was convinced that the actual meaning of "slang" Was dialetto but it's "gergo" 👍🏻
Complimenti bel voto. Gradita iscrizione al mio siti filippo.Contiliano
