5% is nothing based on the cost of living we are subjected to. We demand 10% to 12% RSA has money.

Rsa has money ? Look around you all SOC are falling apart and nearly all
Municipalities are failing service deliveries but you want huge raises !!! First do your jobs right !!! You shouldn’t be paid for not doing your jobs !!!! You are lead by a bunch of clowns !!!! There is sense of responsibility or duty in the public sector !! Only “let’s get paid to do fok all “

@XDARKPA33NGERX But SOEs falling apart and Municipalities failing on their service delivery mandates is not an appropriate metric to gauge whether SA has money or not.

Don't comment on blanket response we're not talking about doing duties but increment on living wage as per status of expensive living conditions. U complain at ppl not doing their jobs but ppl are getting paid just for giving birth, we have foreigners getting grants whereas they don't contribute to economy. These SOs are destroyed deliberately NOT that state doesn't have money. SA public servants are taxed exorbitantly but take home peanuts & most are single parents.

Yet they expect ppl to pay electric & water, how can I not bypass when all u left is 0 after buying food. We have educated kids who can't get employed, they depend on us even after 30yrs. Even when they start their businesses can't get tenders as they're related to us, they give them 3mnths contract

Please Cdes also take the tax rate into consideration it's too much higher than GEPF it would be better if they rate equally.
The reality of the matter is that this %ge will not make a difference at all as the standard of living is too high. The Unions must not always agree with Govt if we demand a 12% let's not change just stick to it. We work hard and we we also have domestic workers to pay also.

    Noma yini mlungu wami!!
The wage negotiations are a farce, the employer must dala what they will.
    They always do anyways.
The phscological torture of the 2021 unilateral implimatation of whatever they reffered to it.
This epoch of workers rights ended there with the then Minister of Finance, Maloota Gigabyte.
The love for workers and unionism in the Era of Irvin Jim and Zwelinzima Vavi died.
The illussion that Unions were powerful was clarified for eternity.
Right now, workers are not enthusied about Unions and unionism.
Mcashi yenza phela, that unilatarilisim, nama yini is the theme of 2025.

Basically no increase, because medical aid contributions went all the way up...plus the hospital Terms and Conditions.

I wonder if it is across the board or sliding scale, if it is sliding scale then MMS only gets between 2 and 1.5%

This headline is totally misleading. There are many Unions in PSCBC. PSA in one of these unions.
