I have visited this nutmeg processing plant twice & absolutely loved it. The first time we visited we could walk around while the ladies were working- absolutely fascinating and all the huge trays of nutmeg waiting to be sorted upstairs. Wonderful experience.

Yes, his name is Frank Edwin. It’s my dad’s name in reverse. I didn’t believe it at first lol. Yes, there’s lots of uses of the various parts of the nutmeg.

Usually there’s a lower price for locals (and in some cases no cost). But I find the cost to be pretty affordable currently. They have to pay the people who work there and maintain things like the washroom facilities.
