You can import raw files onto Snapseed you just need to copy the images from your memory card and place them in your phone/tablet then select the file in the phones explorer and select the image you want to edit and open up with Snapseed I have done this successfully with Nikon Raw files on a android device but you may need to do it it differently for apple devices
Okay, I'll try it coz I want to shoot raw as it has so many benefits but last tie I tried opening a raw image on snapseed I couldn't? I imported it directly with my cannon smartphone app on Android. O use cannon so maybe that's why? I also make use of an android device.
I think it converts to jpeg when importing using the sharing applications? Or sometimes your phone can't read the raw files hence why I use the file explorer
@@Shemene I have the same problem, I am using my Canon M50 with its compressed raw 3 (CR3) format. If you need to take more time for your video to be complete and really useful, then make it longer. There's tons of instructional videos on youtube--even about snapseed--that are long. For example, see Rad Drew's snapseed video that is 52+ minutes long. Why are you adverse to that? As for me, I don't really care that you have two different "before" pictures that don't match. Minor detail. It's the contents that count. As marketers say, it can't be too long, it can only be too boring.
hi Barry, thank you for your comment To hopefully answer your questions, by pulling down the red curve im essentially removing the RED channel from the image allowing the blue to be more dominant to match my sky, as seen in the video. you can try this with any image and the effect will be the same. im sorry if this was not as clear as i should have made it. You are able to do this on Adobe lightroom Desktop but unfortunately I am yet to work out this on Lightroom the simple fact that Lightroom mobile does have a paint tool feature yet
