I finally have help video editing. Its tough balancing work, having fun with the car and editing. Should be on a schedule now. Keep working on the car! Send me some pics - Sendit@BZRmedia.com
True, I went with a low arch spring to help lower the car. The issue I had with 10" bolts were that they were longer than my rim. If I lost a tire, I'd be on the spring bolts. I opted for the low arch spring for that reason.
do you recommend the 6 link? I've recently fund out about... whats your review on it? besides 6 link and new axels(what size?), what else have you done to make the drive train survive?
I actually made a video quoting a previous comment of yours. "Lets talk - C3 Vette drivetrain upgrades for 500 HP". Take a look! As for the 6 Link, Im a fan, it adds safety as well as function to the car. It would be the only upgrade Id recommend for casual strip use and around 500HP. If the car is sitting with the axles close to flat, the stock axles will do a pretty good job of surviving. Mine were twisted but this is after 50+ maybe 70+ passes at the track. U joints need to be non greaseable and Spicer. They are the weak link. I made sure my bushings are good, these things will wheel hop like crazy if you have old sloppy bushings. The stock stuff does pretty good though. I beat the crap out of the stock drivetrain of this car and it never let me down.
@@BZRGarage i somehow missed that... thanks! I remember writing that comment and being like eh... ill never get a reply but ill write anyways... so that's pretty cool!
can i ask you for help on my 73 ? let me know how i can get in touch with you. i'll pay you for your time. im doing a build on it and had some questions. thanks
Hey bro how you been? It's been a while since I looked at your channel. I see you still have the Vette, I'm hoping to get the parts that I'm missing for mine this year. I'm wandering did your gear box survive or did you have to change anything. Also are the half shafts ok or for all that fun you have on your Vette or have you got any problems. I'm saving to buy a super muncie and thicker drive shafts or should I just get a straight solid rear end? Lastly? Would you be interested in helping me build mine? Some time next year? 😂 The car is in Costa Rica and I need someone that has knowledge on this car,😅....
YOOOOO IVE BEEN WANTING TO SEE THE UPDATES FOR A LONG TIME!!!
still fixning up my c3...

Interesting.. never seen half shafts replaced before... 👍😎
And hopefully you wont see me do them again! Fingers crossed I dont break the U-Joints.
you can use 10" C4 vette spring bolts to lower a corvette proper when installing a stiffer spring

Nice, I ordered the parts yesterday and am knocking this out in the next week or two.
I just ran three 1.6 sixty foots at the track and no signs of stress on those half shafts!
@@BZRGarage finished them on the 25th! Only took 4 hours with a buddy
3”’s? Holy cow. Kinda surprised the new spring raised it that much.
Yeah, I wasn't a fan. After talking with Vansteel, they recommended a low arch spring which is standard by most manufactures.

Why not go with a ridetech suspension and aluminum half shafts
