Don't quit guitar or music. Just take a break if you need do, a long break if required. I won't go into all of the circumstances and bad emotional things that happened to me, but I gave up music approx 1990. AND really now wish that i hadn't.
for various reasons , and others that I'm not yet sure of, I recently picked up the only guitar I had ~cheap electric guitar, covered in crap with 2 strings missing that was buried under stuff and crap from the loft, and started noodling in 2015.
. i now have several electric guitars and bought a professional one at the end October 2017. Last month i seemed to re-acquire my ability to mimic anything I hear on the fretboard, it was a happy moment, but also sad as I didn't realise that I used to have this ability but had lost it over 25 years. I had previously got to the 'magic 10,000 hours' before, and it seems that I have got there again on electric guitar only..... to the disappointment of my significant other[of well over two decades] as I used to play classical guitar aswell. The physical skills required to play classical guitar are very difficult, and need to be maintained by practice by many hours weekly,.. so I'm not attempting it , as it would be far too depressing, and an impossible task at my age.

Maybe I'm wrong but around 3.18 and over during the slow solo before the piano breck i can ear Jason becker's and cacophony influences. Your sound is great and your playing is amazing. Influences are good when are used mixed with ouw own style. Good work, nice video!

I see the resemblance with German and hence I get the meaning but the assumption that you speak a Germanic language (which could be totally wrong, if this word is only borrowed) doesn't narrow the number of countries very much...

It's written after "The Seducer's Diary" by Søren Kirkegaard and this is the book that appears at the beginning. If you read it it will give you a better understanding of the music and the video :)
