Actually, You can now click on any folder; Indicators, Expert Advisors, Scripts, choose Refresh and the installed item will appear. Saves a lot of restarting time, cheers!

Sir, After downloading custom indicator from internet, Is it mandatory to open the file first before drag & drop it into meta trader MT4? Also does it matter if original indicator file is in compressed form & how do you open metatrader & downloaded file on the same windows lap top screen simultaneosly to do the drag & drop step.Thank you

This worked for me for PC version but looks like for iPhone MT4 it is not possible to load custom indicators. Is this correct or is there way I’ve not worked out yet pls? Thx all

You need to install a third party program that will allow you to install Windows programs. Something like Parallels, Wine or VMWare Fusion. Close the coding window and go back to your chart, then go to Insert > Indicators > Your Indicator.

Only the charts where the indicator is attached and it depends how it was programmed. It may not scan all timeframes.

It's not possible, but I wish it was. The next best thing is to use indicator alerts and send the alerts to your mobile app.

It totally didn't work. I have an exe file and it wont even remotely let me drop it into the indicators file..
That's because you cannot put .exe files into MT4. Just double click the .exe file and it will automatically install it for you.
