Hope you've found a solution, but if not, you should still be able to click something like "other sign in options" and there should be a PIN code option hopefully. If not watch part 2, where I show you how to add a different sign in method.

My goodness thank you so much I was panicking big time because the only solution I could find was doing a factory reset. As a student who has never used anything other than my laptop at uni, I would've been done for if I hadn't found this. Thank you soo much.
Thank you for the video and solution. Greatly appreciated!!! This must be one of the most stupid 'features' added by Microsoft to Windows 11. Yes, security is important but... The lockout occurred on my laptop after doing OS updates that required several restarts, not due to me getting my PIN incorrect. The power settings on my laptop are set so that it will power off / sleep, so I can't get it to "be on powered on for at least 2 hours". And that you can essentially bypass by saying 'I forgot my PIN' - yikes!

OMG THANK YOU SO SO MUCH!!! I couldn’t use my pin or password (it said it was locked) and I kept restarting. I didn’t think of using sleep but after I used it, turned on my laptop and put my pin, IT WORKED!!! GOD BLESS YOU!!!😊😊😊😊
