Why not question the DPRK too? Is it acceptable for the leaders to have portraits everywhere? And statues? That people are forced to wear a pin of Kim Il sung? Why does literally nobody leave and come to other countries saying "no you've got it all wrong, it's great" ? Why blindly accept whatever North korea tells you? The Kims love in complete luxury while the people suffer. Supporting North Korea is supporting oppression.

@@solidarity9336 Kim Il Sungs anti Japanese exploits are greatley exaggerated. He hardly did anything. It's myth created by the North korean regime. do you also believe Kim Jong Il had a mystical birth at Mount Peaktu? Predicted by a swallow? A double rainbow appeared? It's laughable. Even Fidel Castro was disturbed by Kims cult of personality when he visited north korea in the late 80's. Has that society really just naturally evolved into worship of a family? Why don't people do other things? where's the independent art, music, etc? Why does everything have to be state mandated? Why does it seem EVERYONE thinks "let's praise our goverment all the time" why can't someone make a joke? Elections, yea, where there's one name on the ballot. sure. Supporters of north korea make other socialists look so bad. South Korea has its own problems, but you're allowed to criticise the government, you're allowed to speak up about any problems. In North Korea you'd' be taken to camp for such things. and the South has way better art, lots of different, experimental ideas, instead of just "durrrr kim il sung kim il sung, kim il sung, thats all we care about kim il sung" please tell me why the majority of people in NK photos look so skinny?

@@solidarity9336 Where's the democracy when people are sent to prison camps simply for questioning a policy, making a joke about the Kims, or anything tiny, or indeed anything at all...
Are Americans forced to wear a pin of their president? there's no democracy whatsoever in North korea, it's just one party. One leader dictating everything. in WHAT way is that democratic? Why's there no dissenting opinion at all? Everyone happens to agree with the goverment? Good luck having a job in NK, where even people who have a job don't get enough to eat. Ever seen the satellite photos that show North Korea in total darkness? Let me guess, it's been edited by them evil imperialists. You know, not everything is black and white. it's not, these people are this and therfor good, or this is bad. There's been lots of good stuff because of capitalism, lots of bad, same with other models, okay? I'm not under any label.
When you say that mystical stuff is western propaganda....well that shit is written in North Korean published books, books written in North Korea, they've made films of it. That's what they say. It's a fascist far right state.

You do know Marx would be rolling in his grave if North Korea would be called "communist" fuck kim il sung, insecure little man. I suppose you'd probably still hate Japan, despite everyone involved in the empire is long dead. North Korea is hugely racist. Russia and the US are who drove Japan out of Korea, the end of WW2. It had nothing to do with kim il sung, you believe without question anything that regime says. Weird innit.

United in slavery. We smile and look strong and do what we are ordered. Our country is strong. Our country is united. Our leader is great and wise and wonderful. Now we go home to our unheated concrete apartment without electricity or running water, cry ourselves to sleep because we're hungry, hug our families and beg them to follow orders or we'll all be sent to concentration camps where we'll be beaten or worked to death. Unity. Strength.
