Hi, happy belated birthday! Great video, helped me a lot. If you could answer a couple of questions it would be great. We are going in September booked the Finest Club private pool, we are a group of nine cubans lol. We love DR go every year but this would be the first time on this hotel. Can you please tell me about day entertainment like do they play music by the pools, games, and those stuff? Speakers policy? Any tip or recommendation will be greatly appreciated.
Thank You ! I'm glad it was helpful for you. The times we went to the pool there was no music. There was a group of people who had their speaker and played their own music discreetly. Not sure if you're allowed to play your music loud. But that was the pool on the excellence side. They have another pool on the other side that was more active. They have activities like games and wine tasting, sports, snorkeling and beach activities. When we went it was very chill but it was also just me and my boyfriend. I am sure since its nine of you; you will have a blast. My advice if you are looking to have a little more fun like dancing etc. I'd say go to Coco Bongo they have day time/ night time activities.
Hello! Great video... looks beautiful!! We've been to Excellence El Carmen and absolutely love it!! We're thinking about trying Finest. Is there any daytime activities or evening entertainment on the AO side? We're not looking to party, but we do enjoy beach volleyball and some music in the evening and meeting new people. Don't want to be bored by 10pm. Can we go over to the family side if we want to?
Also, what are the perks from being on the AO side? Restaurants, bars, etc... and did you happen to notice if there were any adult channels being this is the AO side? 🤭🙈

Thank you for watching 💗. They have a whole bunch of day activities that i wish we could of participated in but found out wayyy after we left. I wish they would of mentioned this when we checked in. But just to name a few they have archery, painting, karaoke, rum tasting wine tasting They also have a volley ball court. Some activities are included some are extra charges. The AO side is definitely more of a relaxing vibe so you’ll love it as far as that but it did feel a bit isolated which we didn’t mind. Lol. We just went to the other side when we wanted to interact with other people. You have access to both sides.
There is a bar, restaurant and beach side exclusively for AO. We had a discount for the spa as well…That we did not use 🥴😞. Not sure if the discount was exclusive for AO or Because we booked our room on their direct site….and yes…lol their are a lot of adult channels 😭😭. I was honestly in shocked…my bf was suffering the channels and stumbled upon a few. No additional charges if you wanted to watch. Lol.
Happy belated birthday! Great video. I am trying to decide where to go next year for my 20th wedding anniversary and so far its between Finest Punta Cana and Lopesan Bavaro. I have a few questions. Do all the restaurants have air conditioning? I noticed the theater is opened on the sides. Is it hot and humid inside or does it has ceiling fans to keep it cool? How is the food specially for dinner? Did you have to do reservations for dinner? Thank you for the opportunity to ask questions.

If my memory serves me right the only restaurant that doesn’t have AC is Dukes Seafood restaurant because it’s outside next to the beach. I honestly can’t remember if there are ceiling fans at the theater but i also don’t recall getting too hot while sitting there. Over all the food was good. Dinner was a hit or miss to be honest. I really wish they had a restaurant that serves Dominican dishes only just to get a better food experience.Being Dominican myself i was hoping for more authentic food that wasn’t sitting in the buffet area. My favorite restaurants for dinner were dukes restaurant and Lizzo Mexican restaurant. We didn’t make any reservation for any of the restaurants we went to. I believe you need reservations for the Asian restaurants especially if you want them to cook in front of you and the steak house. Happy to answer any questions the best way I can. We’re you able to swim after the main pool closed since it’s kinda private?
Yes of course. You can swim all night if you want. They have little lights around your private pool so you can do so comfortably
Very nice video, how would you rate the food and what were your favorite dishes?
Thank you ! 💗💗Overall the food was good! I’d rate it 8/10. My favorite dish to be honest was the fish and chips at the playita food truck by the beach. At the restaurants i enjoyed Lizo which is Mexican and Dukes seafood. The fried shrimp was to die for!!

Question is there a nightlife at the resort, and during the day is there activities to do
Hey love. So the resort has a club on the excellence side I believe it’s called taboo lounge. Not sure if it’s only available for the excellence club member’s but they played good music and DJ takes recommendations. The only down side is when we went no one was there. To be fair, when we got there they just opened so we stayed for like 30 mins and nothing. I’m pretty sure with the right crowd it’ll be so fun. The decore was so nice too perfect for a photo op.

Hi, This video was really helpful. In my reservation I asked them to give me anything but beer (not a fan) lol but I'll be going in September. I just had a question: Is there a surcharge for the liquor bottles in the room? Will you be charged extra for drinking them? If not, they are coming back home with me unopened 😂
We took all our bottles home. No extra fee! Even the one we opened we took. 😂. It’s suppose to be complementary with the room. Hopefully they remove the beers and give y’all a bottle of wine or something! Have a safe and fun trip and thank you for watching 💗
@solifbaby thank you for responding! We can't wait. I did see someone say that the liquor might be watered down (even the bottles in the room). Did you experience that with the cocktails provided or bottles in your room? I did see that club level liquor was better quality for club level rooms (which we booked).
The bottles in our room was definitely much stronger. I don’t see how they can water down the bottles if they are unopened but you never know lol. Most of our cocktails were good enough to feel a buzz but honestly most cocktails taste like any other resort… its always sweet and they put less liquor in it so i don’t find them as strong usually. but it also depends on who is making them. If you find that one bartender that knows what’s up always go to them give them.
Can you smoke hookah on the deck?
I’m honestly not sure. We didn’t bring any hookah with us. But i don’t see why they wouldn’t if we were allowed to purchase cigars and vapes.
