- 25, a film by Tigercat, was made in conjunction with Tigercat’s silver anniversary. The film explores the importance of the prototype 726 feller buncher, the machine that started it all and launched a company that would go on to change the business of harvesting timber around the world in very significant ways.
This is the English language release. Subtitled releases in French, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian and Swedish will follow later in 2017. This RUclips video relates exclusively to TIGERCAT branded machines available worldwide except in Benelux. This video is not directed to customers and professionals in Benelux.
I'm heading to Ontario Canada at 18 years old to run a Tigercat, have to say its the most exciting and terrifying moment in my life lol. after watching this video I'm looking very forward to working in the woods with your lads machinery
I've worked on several pieces of forestry equipment. That said. I find it an absolute pleasure to work on Tigercat machines. And this story is awesome. Finally someone listened to the men running the machines, and turning the wrenches. I'm a tigercat fan.
I come back every year and rewatch. It’s beautiful
words cant explain the beauty of this film! great job!
Right on.
Outstanding film on a great machine. And it pays to own a Tigercat to do a good job.I have been watching CT3 videos and he said this was great film & he was right.
I am from Brazil feller machine operator 870 if possible someday I would very much like to visit the tigercat factory where these machines are born. They are very sturdy and easy to maintain extraordinary congratulations tigercat.
Made in Canada bud👍
alguém sabe nome dessa música 7:40 ?
I love the fact that they didn't just go and replace everything on the 726 but just cleaned it up, repainted and refreshed it. It could probably go out the next day and do another 35,000 hours work all over again.
That winter wonderland is about an hour from where I grew up. Awesome video! Thanks CT3 for the recommend.
I've got an interview at Tigercat on Friday! I'd be proud to work there. Wonderful film, wonderful company.
Awesome video. CT3 sent me here
Wasn't expecting to see New Zealand feature so heavily, great video

Cotontop3 sent me here, but I stayed because of the story.
I got to see this fully restored at the richmond expo this year and it was pretty neat watching the back story and then seeing it beside all the new stuff
Great video. Really enjoy watching things like this instead of tv! Took lots of work to make this video and glad i was able to watch it! 👍
I don't work in the log woods, but I run equipment every day. Tigercat is a big name around here. I have logger buddies that tell me if you can afford the machine, itll be good to you for a long time to come.
Best dam machine ever built! And I love watching these machines do their job, I watch allot of videos on them. And I give it a thumbs up!
What a cracking video, I can see why your proud of what you have achieved. Best wishes for the future.
Beautiful video. It's great to see a company that listens to their costomers.
AWESOME Video Congrats on 25 Years . Although I'm subscribed to the Tigercat channel, Thanks to Cotontop3 for the reminder & Sending me here to watch it .
Almost time for the Tigercat 30. Hope there is one. Can't wait.
I was about to say that lol
CT3 sent me here , absolutely outstanding presentation.
It is nice to see that there are still good companies out there. These days companies seem to be going down a bad track. This video just further instills the saying of " do good honest work and everything will work its way out"
I stumbled across your channel by accident. Watch your noodle jug making video. Loved it and made some. Watched a couple other of your videos and was hooked. I'm not a logger nor do I wanna be but I do enjoy your watching your stuff. Very entertaining and educational. Thanks for the hard work.
this is really a great video makes me think of all the years and hard work the loggers and Tigercat did for the industry, nice to see that old machine come back to life. building machines that really do make a difference.
Well done guys keep producing the best piece of logging equipment.

Wonderful film!
This is an extremely well done video! very very good! great story
Just AWSOME !!!!
Great video & restoration on the CT3. Tigercat operator in New Zealand 🇳🇿 🌲
I think Bobby Goodson is a great spokesman for Tigercat like on his show it showed them breaking down which every piece does irrelevant to maker but he would explain in context of the high hours and lack of problems over the life of the machine
love that story!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great video... great equipment... great people. Canadians build some of the best products worldwide and they're awesome people.
Nice job Tigercat.
Great film , TIGERCAT
Awesome video😎
Great Great Video
As joiner for fifty. Very likely I fix cut saw up timber that one of your machines as harvest. As a craftsman when you look at that rebuild Tigercat machine it's one hell of a machine and very well built. And built to last and do a good job.
Job Well Done!
Could the owner/creator of the video please give me the playlist for this video? I have watched this video numerous times just so I can jam out to the soundtrack. Very well done!
Good video !
I’m not a logger but this makes me want to buy a tigercat.
I think it is great to rebuild the old machine.
Nice video
Heads up,one the best bunching video is BUBLITZ LOGGING, great tcat bunching
I think Bobby Goodson is about the best spokesman Tigercat has.. I never really thought or knew much about them until I looked into them after seeing them on "Swamp Loggers".. I persuaded the company I work for to buy Tigercats in the future.. At the moment we have a mix of Timberpro, Valmet, and Komatsu ( I know komatsu now owns Valmet) We recently ordered 2 Tigercat 830's Fellers I can't wait til we get them
I work for a logging company here in Canada and we have everything tigercat. 4 butchers 4 skidders 4 processors and 1 loader. My boss won't get anything but tigercat.
Tigercat are one the best machine in the market
THE best
At 29:45 the tigercat 726 sounds like a 6.0 powerstroke
Cotton top is so right about this video
Perfekt...when comes a produktvideo from the 1185?? :)
Very well done. And the spirit of God moved over the earth and He saw what He had done and it was good. My heart rejoices with you in what you have accomplished.
Get a REAL story bud
Looks like Eddie is trying to show the size of something with that thumbnail LOL 😂
Magnificent video! Would love to start a logging company with Tigercat machines!
Nice video, buttttt us as loggers make our decision watching people like Cotontop3 , Tigercat do rule, congrats on what y'all have done in 25yrs
That's a well built machine but can you show a older model in to be restored like know ??
The company I worked for bought this 720 around 1994 and it was still cutting last time I saw it about 8 years ago. We did replace the whole felling head and it got a new Cummins motor once that I know of, but the machine itself held together well. It was a year or two old in this photo. Thanks for the video link cotontop3!

Thanks for sharing the picture Mike.
After linking the photo above I started wondering whether he still runs that 720. So I called him and he told me yes, that they are currently using it and he told me where. So I went by today and got some current photos of his equipment. He has not needed to do any additional major work since years ago when he replaced the felling head and the motor which I already mentioned. That machine has paid for itself multiple times over these many years. Here's a link to current photo's taken today. www.dropbox.com/sh/19hr5n0xglgbc6w/AAB94CfFDmi3kk_ZWo4X43YTa?dl=0
Thanks again Mike.
Wow
Simply the best !
Songs?
its time for 30 a film by tigercat
What’s the song
35,000 hrs!
when it comes to logging... don't fuck with Canadians..... they know how to build stuff thats for sure....
Cotton needs a pair of Kevlar gloves lmao
Great story ,And she's still going on her journey ..
Thanks for noticing us kiwis
It's the original tigercat
MADE FOR THE CUSTOMER. Regular car companys should write this on their flag and stop buildn expensive scrap metal (plastic).
Like your video but not your goofy music, from an old school logger!
They never show tigercat in hardwoods cuz they cant handle what we do
lol
well in over east in the hard wood it's all just about still done like it was all over in the 70's befor we had a lot of this stuff now they are starting get ride of guys on the ground and use all machines
well ya you guys have some big stuff over there but tigercats can handle most things
then you look at like b.c they have big big wood that can just get cut by hand
Taylor Rosenberry look at swamp loggers
Awesome home. Show how farmers actually get paid when a family owns a farm. I understand equipment and fuel, seed and stuff comes out of total profit hut how does each person get paid? By profit? By hours? Or just a set income each year no matter what? Curious how it works but dont want to over s tep my bounds. Much respect from Maine.
Mad respect from Maine woodlands😂😂
