Sun Outdoors RV Resort | Pigeon Forge, TN

The weather is heating up, and the kids are quickly approaching Summer vacation, which means it’s time to load up the RV and hit the road! What better way to kick off our first RV trip of the season than to head North to the Great Smoky Mountains? While visiting the Pigeon Forge area of Tennessee, we stayed at the Sun Outdoors Pigeon Forge resort! Come along with us, as we explore the Sun Outdoors RV Resort in Sevierville, TN (Pigeon Forge)!

Sun Outdoors Pigeon Forge is in Sevierville, nestled at the bottom of the Great Smoky Mountains in East Tennessee. It is approximately 4 hours north of Atlanta, 3 hours East of Nashville, and a little under 4 hours from Charlotte, making it a really nice road trip for the family.
Sun Outdoors Pigeon Forge has over 295 spacious RV sites that feature full hookups (50 & 30 amp power, water, and sewer), concrete patios, complete with a picnic table, and a fire ring for each site. We parked in a Standard site, a gravel site, but they also offer Signature RV sites that are concrete pads. We appreciated that WiFi access is available throughout the park; this really came in handy for working and roadschooling.
The pool and lazy river areas were hands-down, one best that we’ve seen at a campground. The zero-entry pool was perfect for the girls to enter the water at their own comfort gradually. Sun Outdoors Resort is pet-friendly, and I love how they include pet amenities for their furry guests. They offer a sizeable, fenced-in bark park complete with an adorable fire hydrant and pickup bags.
Sun Outdoors Pigeon Forge RV sites and cabin rentals vary based on the type of site, the season, and the day of the week you book. Standard RV sites start at $53.00 a night, and Signature RV sites start at $81.00 a night. If you are interested in renting a cabin, they start at $79.00 a night.
