    2:05 Black can also play Bxf2+, but it would just delay checkmate.

  • @ChristinaMyBeloved
    @ChristinaMyBeloved 4 года назад +2

    Instead of attacking the pawn with knight on the beginning you can also add extra pawn defend by
    Nc3 because you can put your bishop on D4 and prevent the risk of D5 attaking bishop

  • @someone2973
    @someone2973 5 лет назад

    2:06 black actually has two moves to stop mate in one as the bishop can put the white king in check by capturing the f2 pawn.

    Interesting video. Thanks for posting. Howcast really has showed me alot. I love the commentary as well. Not only an interesting video, but attention grabbing background music. King h8 checkmate was inevitable. Great explanation as well. Only one problem, why not more chess videos? Odd is that i have only seen this one. Great potential here wasted. Love the short videos too. Especially when it is this concise. I wonder how long this comment can be. Since it doesnt have a post limit, I will continue. Try to upload more of these. However, be more frequent as well.
    Extra videos with other continuations might work. Nice quality. Serious about the videos as well it seems? Alright, cya later.

    I've always been a "theory" player and stuck with the four knights so I could just develop in the opening, but the Italian game looks so much more interesting with all the attacking lines like the fried liver, Evans gambit, etc.

      @SPINE BONG i'm talking about playigng as white and trying to complete the gambut sequence. When you move the knight, they often don't take the bait sacrifice. No one ever plays like that. It's so rare that it's not worth ever trying, especially because if you move that knight early and they don't take the bait it's a significant advantage for black.

      There's no special rule about taking pieces while in check. It's just that the king would still be in check (from the bishop) after taking the queen.
