Also you can open a midi editor on the track itself and just stretch the track wide. And you can open the midi editor at the bottom on the daw on the same screen.
i'm sure its mentioned plenty of times, but it does have a browser. Its called workspaces (under Windows), but it is quite cumbersome. It does have the same principals though
I really think all of the current DAW’s on the market can do everything we need and much more but honestly none of them are extremely intuitive. I’ve stuck with Ableton and I’m satisfied with it I just wish these DAW’s interfaces didn’t look so archaic.

You are more musical than most I see posting videos. You are just starting out with pro tools so there is a lot you don’t know. Pro tools does have a sound browser actually 2….sound base or workspace. Pro tools also has several midi window viewof which you can edit on all 3. They can all be accessed a variety of ways: selecting the window view, there is a midi tab in the lower left corner. You can double click on a midi or instrument track, you can change the view mode on a track. And yes there is a way to but draw in or cut single notes…it all depends on which tool you are using. Enjoy your exploration of pt. It is my favorite daw and favorite sounding daw except for nuendo. Also there are several time stretching methods available in pt…some of which are very expensive such as sera to pitchntime. Pt now has the same time stretch algorithm as studio one and live as well as its own. Just keep in mind that there are multiple ways and methods todo the same thing in pt. It takes time to learn them…I’ve been on pt for 20 years and I’m still learning:) Ej
Aye bro bro, currently in college for a bachelors in Audio Production. I’m still learning a lot, yet we are working on pro tools too. When making a new track, push shift, cmd, and the letter N and it should pop up. Also for opening the midi set up, click on the hand tool at the top (grabber tool) then double click on the part you want to edit, with midi, and it should pop up easier too…. Keep in ,ind you might have to drag it up, to fill the screen so it’s bigger, but yeah hope I can help a bit. I loved the plug ins you used too. Gonna help me a lot with my music too. If I could give you any tips with pro tools, I had the same issue when trying to make beats, seemed harder, yet the sounds all sound better to me then any other daw, so to make it easier to use, try and learn the quick keys, that way you can push the buttons on the keyboard, instead of going through the top of the daw, looking at menus, and maybe it’ll make the beat making process a bit faster for you too. I just found you on RUclips sadly, but now I can keep up with you too. If you have a social media I’d love to have to send it and that way I could follow you on other stuff too. Like I said again this is all advice I cam give, yet just trying to help, you taught me some, so I wanted to return the favor chief, keep it up. Much respect 👑🙏

Only thing I Disappointed with pro tools is they removed the perpetual version😤
