One thing to note about this Volume because it's not really explained and can be confusing; each of the different groups are on a different timeline. Blake's is the farthest behind of everyone else. It's why they are talking about the attack on Haven is going to happen when right before students come back in 2 months on Blakes timeline, but then later, Oscar/Ospin say students come back in 1 month. The timelines slowly start to get closer to each other the farther into the Volume you go. Fun BTS fact, for the Oscar/Ospin voice, they actually had the voice actor for Ospin read all the lines first, then the voice actor for Oscar would listen to it and do the lines trying to replicate the sound/inflection of Ospin's voice. They do that throughout, so kind of neat and it's how Oscar can sound like Ospin pretty well.
All of your questions will be answered eventually. You will get a lore drop, but to avoid spoilers, its all the better for us to see your reaction when it happens.
13:01 You already knew that the Tale Of The Seasons turned out not to be fictional as far as their world is concerned. Now you know that Blake's book about the man with two souls is also not fiction. You should go back to Volume 3 Chapter 6 when Ozpin asked Pyrrha about her favorite Fairy Tales, pay attention to the ones she listed, and remember them to see how many of those turn out to also not be fiction as far as their lore goes.
Weiss and her knight look so much like Sophie and Calcifer, I had never noticed that before you paused it right there!! Also, I think you will very much enjoy the next episode and I am looking forward to next week! Hope it's a good one for you
@dreadpiraterexy1410 i know exactly what you're talking about! Howls Moving Castle is goated, and can't wait. I should be recording it today or tomorrow
@@ReggieWolf if you’ve never read the Howl’s Moving Castle book, I cannot recommend it enough-it’s different in a lot of ways, but sooooo full of sass. HMC is one of those few examples of a book and it’s movie being equally wonderful despite the changes
One thing that I should mention that doesn't get addressed in the show itself is the asynchronous nature of the multiple story lines right now. Team RNJR are somewhat ahead of the curve, and only have a few short weeks to gather as many allies as they can for an attack they know is coming. Likewise, Blake and Menagerie are a bit behind; either Adam's coup against Sienna hadn't happened yet, or Menagerie hasn't heard the news (arguments can be made for both sides). Yang and Weiss's sides, on the other hand, are pretty in sync with each other as you'll soon see. The Menagerie arc has a bit of time to build up Defenses while those who are already at Haven are scrambling against the clock.
17:54 Hard to tell. You saw how quick he was to disinherit her, so it's likely that he wouldn't. Then again, considering that these bandits aren't the only ones who come up with the idea to ransom her, there's also the chance that there were already posters offering reward money. We never really see anything to confirm or debunk either way.
On the topic of Hazel blocking blades with his arms, thats actually something all the characters can do using their aura (given that they’ve unlocked it)
18:49 Something many of us said we would like to see when this aired was a fight between Winter and Raven. What we want now is for Winter and Raven to team up against Cinder because, no matter what you think about Raven between now and the end of this volume, she will always be the lesser of evils... actually one of the lesser evils... among the RWBY villains.
25:10 No. Ozpin was the name of the last one before Oscar. You'll get more about his background in the next volume. As for it always being someone with an O, we haven't met enough to assume that that's always been the case, but so far, it does seem that way.
26:07 The answer to that is spoiler territory. Let's just say no for now; however, there will be more information about semblances in general before that one gets answered.
A interesting thing to point out is the Oscar/Ozpin soul mixing thing . Was that it was foreshadowed back in volume 1 with the book Blake was reading.
23:04 "Oscar's gonna feel that in the morning."
Oh, look! It's morning, already.

20:15 Yes. Yes, it does; however, the severity of that situation still hasn't sunk in with Oscar, yet.

Loving this reaction my man! Im so excited to see how you react to whats coming next
3:49 I love Blake’s little cat-like head nuzzle against her father’s arm.

It really is crazy how tall Ghira is.
Also Hazel.
These two guys are built like walls!
16:02 You'll find out eventually, don't worry. Not in this volume, but you'll find out.
I feel bad for oscar
