The way he bowled shows its not all about speed ! He had total control off the ball and by holding it in different positions he made the ball work for him and could also put it where he wanted as he was totally in control. Just awsome to watch

Da Silva scored an invaluable unbeaten even 100 which pulled WI out of serious trouble at 128-7. He shepherded the innings to reach 297, an overall lead of 93. He also took 5 catches in the 2 innings. Kyle Mayers scored 28 in the first innings then took 2-13 and 5-18 for match figures of 7-31 and also effected a run out. These 2 performances were on par in importance and should have been rewarded as such. Joint Men of the Match!
He won't get faster. He can already bowl faster. What he does there is control the ball very well. He gets the ball to "talk" and he does it very often.
Mayers can bowl much fast btw, I played with him. He has a tremendous ability to control the ball. What he did against England, he does fairly often for Barbados.

Very sneaky, people lose concentration against him but he has decent pace and always hits good lines and lengths with his balls swinging. Not easy to bat as people may think
He's a magical bowling nurd, he's swinging it like a drunk dude swaggering up and down the road. Beautiful to watch, the type of bowling you want to smash to and over the rope, but the boy has fire in him belly and a cool head.

The rest inconsistent 50 now and until 10 matches again they score poor batting. he jus come off a hundred and thats it failed back to back. Like success gets into these donkeys head easily.
He did bowl beautifully in this innings. But the England batsmen made him look like the second coming of Glenn McGrath/ Courtney Walsh. This guy wouldn’t get into a county team.
