I think a better version is his ROLLING HALL CONCERT SEOUL there he performs with many of his collaborators. It goes to plan and so RM is more relaxed. Plus you get touching stories about why some of the artists who never collaborate agreed to because of his music sincerity and his personality.

It was obviously a fan cam. You had him on the stage and people's heads in front. I really felt I was there. My husband came in once or twice to find out if I was OK and bring me a tea. Much appreciated I was so hoarse. Ulike me most of the audience were appreciative but well behaved. More if me you wouldn't have heard a thing. But I was so happy.

All of the members of BTS are storytellers, even the poppiest album tell us a story and send a beautiful message. All RM's material is a masterpiece! You should watch RM's 'Indigo Magazine Film'. He talks about his album and why every song was a collab. Also all his collaborators are interviewed, it is so interesting. Being a rapper and writer he really showed how you can stretch the boundaries with these artforms. I was very surprised this didn't get a Grammy nod, but we know how biased they are when it comes to BTS.
Namjoon is so brilliant. He is so introspective and often times transparent. A true rapper...poetry to music. His many older mixtapes are equally awesome
That "still life" it's not only about our faults, it's about successes too.. And in his case, that life on canvas, life on film... That maybe today someone sees an interview with him from10, 8, 5 years ago and aspect that to be RM... But he has that concept that everything changes, people change.. That's life. And as also the first song (from the album) mentioned, it had to do with that pressure, the aspectance to always come out with certain things, to be that person if you are up there... This is an album that reflects quit well the pressure, the discomfort he felt in those years of such a huge success.
Someone once said the worst of times are our proving grounds where we are stressed, pressed down and reshaped were we learn new and amazing things about the world, those around us and ourselves. Never be afraid of them welcome them with open arms and an open mind.
I'll say it again,RMs Indigo album is pure genius! RM,Suga,and JHope I consider more than rappers,they're emotional poetry in motion ,as well as great storytellers. RM is passionate about reading,nature, and art, and it comes through in his first solo album. All the songs written for BTS from him are so well thought out. I'm so glad ,even at my age,BTS found me.💜🫶🫡 Good to hear you again,i could listen to you every day😊
I love RM's way of expressing his poetry in his music. In his song Wildflower he says that poetry was his start and is the thing that has protected him until now and it shows if you pay attention to his lyrics.
Whenever I listen RM it automatically motivate me to live happy, energetic and meaningful life. Mind get relaxed and you just want to listen and learn his meanings behind lyrics. This is RM's impact. 💜
I absolutely love RM's album Indigo, and this Tiny Desk Concert is great because the two songs he sings from it (Yun and Still Life, the first two off the album) basically set up a framework for understanding the album as a whole along with all the songs in it, culminating in the title track Wildflower, which ties all these concepts and thoughts about life he's wrestling with. It's absolutely brilliant.

I love how RM explains his Indigo tracks. They are so wonderfully expressive but are not easy to intuit from a simple listening. Having his pre-song descriptions make the lyrics which are a bit beyond clear tangibility much easier to interpret. It's all there for you hear whether you have RM's preface or not, but listening to them with the artist's intention in mind really wakes up the lyrics' ability to communicate on a deep level. Much like painting can be abstract or realistic, RM's Indigo communications fall somewhere in-between. Perhaps, as you are on RM, you can watch the Wildflower music video. To me it is RM's most stunning and deeply personal work.
Love how you absorb and reflect. RM always puts a lot into his music. His brain seems to work in overdrive non-stop. Not good for him, but good for us and the beautiful way he puts it all into his music. I am OT7 but RM tends to be my biased most days. ;) He goes hard against his haters in the early days in his song JOKE (make sure you get the one with proper Eng Subs). He goes slow and vulnerable in his early song Forever Rain too. I think you saw Wildflower off his new Indigo album, but if not, you should watch that mv soon as you have a chance. It is quite amazing. All these boys are incredible. I've been busy through the holidays so need to go back and see what I missed that you've done.
