It's pretty much outright obvious because lumine has been alive for well over 600 years or something at minimum since that's when she was sent back in time and aether was literally asleep without eating or drinking for years before awaking and finding paimon two months later

@@leleuuu1710 Aether's powers don't even come from visions, they come from the Archon statues. (and apparently, he doesn't even need permission from the Archons themselves. ^^;)
Either way... Aether is only as strong as his most useful element. In other words, it doesn't matter if he can switch between two "weak" kits or seven, he won't be a strong character until we get at least one good kit.

In original source (Magi) where this dub from Venti as Aladdin (Magi main protag) who is also similar to him like having a braid, ancient and wiser than their looks, childlike tendency, bold, have music instrument, causing mischief, the power of nature love them, secretive and bottle up feelings. in truth, in the story quest the mvp is aether. he was doing all the work, activating stormterror and shit and no one else helped him, not even the acting grand master and a literal GOD, and left him to do all the work while they just stood there as npcs.
edit: aether/lumine is technically US, so they left US to do all the work.
Not to say activating the teleportal had been a real hassle😌 especially at dragonspine

This makes me feel so guilty for taking him out of the party, but I mained him for the entire storyline, so that’s something! And he’s lv90 with lv12 talents! ...without artifacts. I gave those to Diluc.

Which element do you use for Aether most of the time? I use Geo Aether as dps it deals physical damage to enemies of all elements.

@@blaze8308 ngl i use a little bit of both, but mostly Geo for that crispy 8k+ damage for just using Starfell Sword, but if I have Diluc and Fischl in my party, which is most of the time, I use Anemo cuz Aether's C6 reduces resistance to that element so yea, my Geo main turned to Zhongli immediately.

i picked lumine over aether because i intended to play this game fully coop mode with my brother and he registered first and picked aether. i wanted to have a different character so kinda had no choice.
i regret it. ends up my brother didn't play very much and aether is better than lumine (bunny hop, she can't do it, he can), and canon.

@Tochukwu Enekamma its more of a relative thing really. aether/lumine were initially weak compared to the archons because they didnt have any experience with what the genshin worlds power scaling is based off of. even then, they were able to learn it extremely quickly, and are proven to have matched the power of a harbinger. being able to travel between worlds may not seem like much, but its something that even the gods in genshins world couldnt do. maybe right now they arent exactly deific, but when aether/lumine fully master all 7 elements, theyll stand way above the archons in terms of power
He wasn't himself when he lost Lumine.
Another fact: The one who voiced the Abyss mage here (Zagan in Magi) is also the voice actor for the Abyss Herald in genshin (CV: Takahashi Hiroki)

You can't friendship level your own character. Ain't out here trying to get 3/4 the Companionship Exp for my Resin.
Yeah, pity they don't make it so your other three charas get the friendship points instead, but that's really one of the only downsides of running MC
Genuine question: Does friendship have any in-game benefit besides unlocking voice-lines? It's not like FGO where you actually get gacha-currency from it, right?
@@gilroyscopa nop, at the moment friendship is just a little bonus for using units a lot (I think), but that might change in the future, one Game I used to play in one of it's updates made it so at a certain friendship level you obtained a special currency that helped to upgrade a unit's skill, that might happen later down the line
@@gilroyscopa Maxing friendship points with a certain character gives you an unique namecard, the thing to prove that you're an ultimate simp to your _waifu_ and are way above the unwashed peasants who haven't maxed their friendship with the _waifu_

Why does it matter? In your story lumine is the protagonist and is just as valid as what’s “canon”

The fact that Venti is Aladdin makes me very happy

Considering Zhongli yeeted spears larger than mountains before he even got his Archon powers and Venti pretty much reshaped all of Monstadt and its surrounding area if not all of Teyvat and Aether at full power is stronger than any of the Archons, he should be around planetary.

if you need to travel back to a statue every time and neither elemental kit is very good, yes.
(Well, at least he is still the best Geo battery sub-DPS in the game, for now. Yes, including Zonghli.)
They will eventually give the traveler a gadget to change elements without going to a statue, now will they allow is to use it during combat is another. Also Lore wise the traveler can change elements at will.
Also look up the video what if the Geo traveler used 100% of their brain.
@@leosolcanonizado4065 Yeah I can't wait for epic bossfight scenes like the one with Childe where Lumine/Aether had revealed they easily switched between two elements. Imagin switching between four elements in one fight, the Tsaritsa would definitely try to murder us on the spot or capture us for experiments
@@aureliaavalon I feel like we will be able to use 8 characters at one point. Maybe they will allow traveler to use other slots to switch elements.
