Nice, I have a 1997 Mongoose Hilltopper SX I bought new for around $600 and I still have it today. It has the Rock Shox front fork. I've only replaced the rear tire due to being worn out. What would it sell for here in the US? Thanks!

There's not much of a market for old MTBs, especially with shocks. It's almost impossible to get rebuild kits for those forks. Maybe $100? If you love the bike, probably not worth selling, which is often the case with these great old mountain bikes...

That was the first true MTB I bought ('91 or '92); That Dark Teal ... Butterfly brakes. Looks like nearly everything on there is original. The crankset looks newer though. And I assume the tires+tubes are not 30 years old.

Any idea what the rim/tire size was?

I have a 1987 Hill Topper weight is almost 40 pounds (18.1437 KG) pain in the neck to carry up and down 3 flights of narrow stairs. But it is certainly a solid made in America Bicycle that does not do very well riding on the dirt/gravel trail from Boulder City to Hoover Dam and back. But for some reason I can not discard this heavy weight bicycle. I do ride it once and a while every year...
