What I love with this anime is not typical high school love story but its more focus on friendship and the hindrance of the story , I wish this anime to be more popular because this an eye opener of what reality is , everything happened on the scene is also happening in real life

My uncle commited suicide this past April. It still hurts me but for some reason this anime has become somewhat therapeutic. Helping me get out some of the complicated emotions Ive been feeling

Alongside Lain, Ano Hana, and a few other titles… Orange was an animation that transcended it’s status.
To me, the story is heartbreaking, gut wrenching, and hopeful enough to elevate it from an “animation” status…
All things considered, it’s a sad and beautiful journey..

I once listened to this song in the kitchen of a hostel. Another guest, an older guy from France, passed by, stopped and listend to the song in total silence. He then came up to me and said:
"What a beautiful song. It's so melancholic and hopeful at the same time. What's it about?" and I told him the story of the anime and his reaction was: "This song is perfect."
And I have to aggree. There are not much songs out there that are as perfect as this. The only ones that come to my mind are the Shingeki no Kyoujin OPs, but they are only perfect if listened to in order and together. This one on the other hand - it's just perfect, rivaled only by the great "Michishirube", the ED of Violet Evergarden.

I really love this anime. Made me think so much of things i dont wanna regret when someone i love died. I feel Naho. I feell the pain. I feel the fucking regret. Because i already know the regret. Sadly i dont have a time machine. I dont know if there is parallel universe because if there is i also want to tell my past self to always be there for my lolo. Wag sana ipagpalit yung temporary pleasure of the gadgets and friends to his presence. Also im so heartbroken that im crying typing this just because of the fact that in the right timeline kakeru committed suicide and it pains to know the regret of his friends

O God, I miss Kakeru..feels like I was the one who lost him.. I know it's just an anime, but the story can make me cry over and over again.. I am not exaggerating, I dont even know why I am like this.. like I can feel his regrets (Kakeru)..and her regrets (Noha).. this is too deep..the song is compatible with the whole story tho..😭 anime is happy ending but why I am not feeling happy at all, eventhough I know Suwa a good man, but Kakeru remain Naho's true love..In the movie They (Kakeru Naho) are married in another dimension and it's even make it more hurting.. it couldnt change the fact that in the present time he is dead. May be this is what called destiny.. The Mangaka tried to make a fair ending, so that wont be sad boy or sad girl here.. present time and another dimension.. I wish I had never watch this anime 🥺 beautiful yet painful..

Am i crazy to say maybe kakeru should stay dead? Like yeah bro life but at what cost? Im happy he's alive but also not too the sacrifice they made especially suwa just to make sure they stay together also, i realized now after many years watching it why future kaho not tell about her future like, all of them tell about she's and suwa married and had kid but she doesn't? And the fact future suwa know that kaho not tell her past self is truly tell he knows her too well and love her too much that both suwa knows that telling kaho would destroy their relationship
