Old Wagons of the Great Road West

Jerry Myers and Ralph Atkinson take their restored, historic wagons from the 18 Hundreds back on the trail in the middle of Nevada. Here you get a feel of the Great Western Migration when some half a million emigrants headed west in the 1840's and 50's. Some of the worst stretches were across Nevada -- especially the 40 mile desert -- 40 miles with NO water.
