- Its so nice to come to this railway line and hear nature and the sound of locos working through this lovely area.
I went to these locations with my very good friend Ben who has a youTube channel called Ben interhubGBRf its with checking it out.

As someone who lived within cycling distance of Sutton park this brought back some great memories. I lived midway between Butlers Lane and Blake Street from age 8 until 10 and with my older brother we would ride our bikes (like you did back in the day) to Sutton Park. How exciting it was to find a railway line that dissected it, although I soon found out it didn't exactly have a frequent service!
Years later (while working at Derby) I was offered a rest day work conducting a freight driver on traction (who was working one of our HST's for a charter company) from Worcester to Chesterfield. Well imagine my pleasure when I booked on and got the job card to see it included the Sutton Park line! Made up would be an understatement.
I always have a good look these days when I am on the Cross-City north as I leave or approach Sutton Coldfield as the 'Park line' crosses overhead just as you leave Sutton Tunnel, but I'm yet to see anything as it crosses....

I do remember filming a EM HST coming up Old Hill Bank and stopping suddenly, not sure if this was the same train you mentioned. Regards Mike.
@@antman09ful1 lol, that was the one. The driver (not me, the freight man signed HST's so he drove) was going too fast over a TPWS grid approaching a speed restriction so the brakes dumped...Not his finest day...
