iLogic is the way to go !
awesome video ... cheers mate
The background is pre set into Autodesk inventor, within the part or assembly environment you can turn this on, if you go to the view tab on the ribbon, there will be a drop down menu which is more than likely defaulted to the setting two lights, if you expand that menu you can change it to the one I used here or one of the other ones.
Thanks
Ian

Hey. Great video. Very informative.
Can you add a video on 3d constraints using iLogic. Let's say I select three faces and it gives three constraints (mate) automatically.
Hope you do it soon.
Good one
Nice one..
Hi thank you for your very helpful video, i have tried using the basic add numeric function. Do i always have to rewrite the numeric user parameters when i place the component into the assembly? or can i link the part file to the assembly or does autodesk do this automatically?
Thanks
Great Video. Thanks For the tutorial. I want to create an ilogic that's doesn't work with an Item select Box, I Want to create a parameter that modify an sketch between different values. Example: I have a tank with a deflector inside, and i want to change the distance of the deflector to the center depending of differents value of the height of the tank. How I can do this?
Excellent video. I am having an issue getting my iLogic rule to read my excel sheet properly though. I get the follow error message: 'GoExcel: Could not match the column title: "PN"'
For some reason, the rule cannot find the colunm named "PN". Any thoughts as to why?
Thank you.
Cadgroup Australia,
If you have 2 tanks with different volume, can you assign 2 tank volume parameters onto 2 instances of Tank.ipt in the assembly?
The idea is that we want to keep a single file for the tank.
The background image from 17:31 onwards. Is that an image background or an assembly itself. it looks so realistic. Can you please teach how you do it?
I envy all of you guys, I am a new USer to 3D Inventor Modelling. I am only starting to learn, this stuffi s so overwhelming.
daamn this is usefull.
i saw ilogic as some sort of black magic, turns out its (basis are) easy!
though i honestly hate your 2D drawings...
i hope thats not how you normally make them haha
How to make flange if flange use type flange, class flange (ansi)?
Great video. For my thesis work I'm looking for a tutorial for "filling a tank using inventor studio for a rendering video". Have you done a similar tutorial? can you help me suggesting a way? thank you very much.
Could you provide a downloadable copy of the part so we can follow along?
Can I ask you for this complete set of files?
Hunter, please email me and i will send you the tank.ipt file. my email is at the end of the video.
Thanks
Ian
