George Michael had one of the most beautiful and clear voices of all time. He pronounced every single word that he sang so there was never a misunderstanding as to what he was singing. He indeed had such a velvety powerful emotional and unique voice that you felt all of the lyrics and the arrangements. The ballads that he wrote and sang are killer. Many of them bring me to tears. He'll always be my favorite of all time.
I am a 65 year old black woman and I have been enjoying George Michael's music since in the 74's and I listen to his music everyday. This man is the Bomb. Everything he sings is AMAZING💯💯💯
THE master cover artist. Bar none. Have always referred to him as The King of Covers. And his original songs are, without exception, peerless. Listening to GM is pure, unadulterated joy, even if he breaks your heart. What a voice. GM was in a class by himself. He had the best backup singers, many of whom had been with him since he went solo.
I saw George at several of his concerts. Never missed a beat, never made you feel bored for one moment. He was such a natural on stage. He loved to dance and dance all the way through many of the songs he sang. If you haven't seen his 25live concert on DVD, you must see it. That entire concert is unforgettable.
George at his best. I was there at that concert and he was utterly amazing. If you thought he was great on record then live he was out of this world - I saw him live 11 times, he was and will always be my idol. And he was absolutely gorgeous! :) What a talent, a legend, so, so much missed. Thanks for this x

I loved it when you saw him dance, that eyebrow went up & a smile came across your face. Part of George was the way he could dance, boy he could move that ass! George always really got into his music and made it a party. He always made the audience be part of his performance and you can see just how he enjoyed it as much as they did. What a performer!
He's brilliant awesome amazing 👍 fantastic tune and performance saw him a few times in Birmingham UK and open up the new Wembley stadium what a nite he was on top form and all is band and backing vocalists omg omg never forget it never!!
He covered Stevie Wonder's AS, a song that nobody else could ever cover. He made it a duet with Mary J. Blige. Stevie Wonder reportedly heard it and loved it.
I have been listening to George Michael's uplifting music since the 1980s when he was in Wham. Thanks, George for saving me when I was at my lowest and loneliest. Thank you for giving me FAITH when I had none.

I had never seen this before. Pretty ambitious to attempt this iconic song in the first place. George Michael is onto his own, not only pulling this off but making this version his own.
George Michael was definitely in a league of his own. I was fortunate enough to see him in concert back in 2008 and he was absolutely phenomenal. I don't know if you have listened to his live version of Calling You if not, you should really check it out. He was truly an amazing artist.
This was for the Princess Trust concert back in 93. The late David Bowie was the presenter of the concert. They both met Princess Diana backstage either before or after the concert. There is a video of it on RUclips.

George was a singer, songwriter, producer and supremely talented in each of these facets. Other comparable artists, MJ, Madonna, Prince etc. relied on other people’s expertise in each of those roles, whereas George did it ALL and produced what could be considered an early example of a ‘mash-up.’ 🤩
My favorite George Michael was with Elton John singing Don't Let The Sun Go Down. Christmas was always a sad time for me then GM dies on Christmas day . And he loved Christmas. So honor his memory by doing something nice for someone who needs it especially on Christmas day.
He was one of the greatest in the 80's and '90s. I will never forget his performance of Queen's "Somebody To Love " from the Freddy Mercury Tribute Concert! It was awesome. Try watching his performance at Freddy Mercury‘s tribute concert where he faithfully sang to Freddy’s Somebody to love and still managed to make it his own, holding the audience in his hand just like his close friend.
