    I wanted to share this that it might probably happen to others. Taking a nap this afternoon I was almost repeating sentences as told herein while in a state of dreaming. I ignore how that goes to others, but it might come to a second or even third time repetition of the same dialogues. I am aware that it is quite very personal depending on the cognitive responses based on each linguistic natural abilities and that to me it simply went repeating sentences while dreaming a contextual dream. All that went happening in a less than an hour. I am not gonna dwell too much on the cognitive and personal experience except that it does create a state of mental environment where the audio input may even project a place and lively interactions with others in Japanese with others. It might make so much sense as the sentences as given an initial English version as a point of departure and the onyric adventure in Japanese. I hope it helps others to undrstand how this tool works. Please, bear in mind that indeed it goes very personal and I am sure those input projected as a dream are very personal or it may work at other psychological and cognitive levels. So, the experience must be different or it mjgjt be so -I quite am sure of this based on my experience that happened just before this message a few minutes ago. It might take a few days or shorter for the brain to partially or totallt activate those related psychological and cognitive processes that are natural to each and every one in a state of revery to engage you learning while sleeping. What it is sure is that indeed the brain is active in a natural dreaming environment to learning sentences in Japanese.

      Thank you for sharing your experience! It’s fascinating how everyone’s mind works differently while learning Japanese in their sleep. Glad to hear the sentences even showed up in your dreams! 😊✨

    I found your videos a little while ago. I really appreciate you putting so much effort into helping others learn Japanese. I’m also using a few language apps to help and I found an old book in the recycling too. It teaches Elementary Japanese. My son and I would really like to visit Japan one day and travel across the country. So we’ve been learning as much as we can, thank you for the help.

    At 11:54, you say "Niji desu" for half past two. Is the "han" silent? If so, seems like one couldn't tell the difference between 1 o'clock and half past two.

    • @JapaneseEveryday
      @JapaneseEveryday  Год назад +12

      Thank you for pointing this out! I apologize for the mistake in this video. You're right, I should have included "han" to correctly say "ni ji han desu" for "half past 2." I truly appreciate your feedback. I'll do more thorough checking before posting future videos 😊✨

    • @JapaneseEveryday
      @JapaneseEveryday  2 года назад +8

      That’s a very good question! Yes, this is how daily Japanese phrases are commonly written. This may look like a lot but as you are continuously exposed to Kanjis, you will naturally remember them without much effort.
      Hope this answer your question and thank you for watching 😊✨

    Thank you very much for the video, I've listened to about four of your videos in the background or when I go to sleep. My one compliant or critique would be that you only say the English translation once, then say the Japanese translation three times. I personally think it would be better to say the English translation an equal amount of times as you do the Japanese, this helps better create a "A = B" process. There have been several times I've misheard the English and get a little annoyed you don't repeat it like the Japanese; otherwise though, very good video, thank you.
