The theme of stealing a child's innocence, robbing them of the escapism found from video games and forcing them to face the real problems they're trying to ignore is such a raw and real type of fear that not a lot of media explores. This doesn't even account for the sheer horror a parent faces when they realize an unknown entity is toying with their child, and that entity was only unleashed because of their foolishness. I like to think that NMI only messes with children suffering from neglect or other familial problems, like a parent buying an innocent-looking Sonic the Hedgehog game to keep their child satiated just so they don't have to actually parent the child. It creates a very interesting dynamic, as you can almost see NMI as a punishment for the parent's neglectful behavior. It's such an intriguing concept, and I cannot wait to see where the EXE community takes it. Also, this song slams super hard. Been listening on repeat since it came out. Great work!

The only bad thing is that if you don't listen to him he will ruin your life and eventually kill you.
