Don't underestimate the audience/fans because we don't want to see Ariana attacked by Lala. It is already giving cringy vibes in her talking head. Ariana put money into that house and had a friend betray her with her partner. Ariana doesn't need to be friends with Tom, so Lala should not complain or compare. It is not going to be well received. The viewers are not on Toms side. We see through his tatics and manipulation. Disagree. It feels like Lala is doing this for the show views and is not authentic. If Lala starts with Ariana getting deals and is making money, the fans will not agree with Lala because it is not about that, it is about respect and boundaries and mental health for Ariana. So your going to be let down if you think Lala will look good about this fight. I do like all the girls and wish you could all support each other and not tear each other down. You still can have a show and work together with people and not be besties with Tom. Ariana might be contacting everyone less because she knows she is getting iced out. What did you expect her to do. Tom has taken over her friends. Its sad.

This season should have been all about the girls, unified and thriving. Alas, wtf. Lala is so pick-me this season, it’s truly sad to watch. She’s given up everything that made her admirable. She’s giving me second-hand embarrassment coming out of the woodwork to be “one of the boys,” somehow totally cool with the guy who cheated on her friend in a very traumatic way - which Lala has been through herself. She was in the perfect position to support Ariana through this hard time bc she’s survived a similar trauma. Instead all of a sudden she’s an ally to these shitty, shitty men? It is beyond fake and forced. The season is not being received the way she had hoped and her comments section shows it.
So having rational, reasonable and mature conversations with someone is now "pick me" vibes? The convo Lala had with Sandoval at his house should be something they should've done last year, instead of that emotionally immature eruption at the reunion. Screaming, accusing and attacking someone is never the way to get anywhere but Bitterville, where Ariana and Katie are as middle school behavior. Everyone on the cast has made mistakes and shitty things, the men and the women. No-one is above anyone and they have all said things they can be criticized for. Don't forget that Ariana was the "Raquel" of season 2 and that Lala cheated on Randall with James. Tequila Katie ring any bell? She has always been mean to Schwartz, Sandoval and many of the new women/other women on the show.
@@seven92023 Lala does not care about having “rational, reasonable, mature conversations.” She’s a grown adult who screams “disengage” at people at the moment of conflict. It’s very transparent that Lala tried to make this season about herself by any means necessary, which includes suddenly befriending toxic men she has actively avoided over the course of 10 years. This is not growth, it’s production. I have always liked Lala so I’m disappointed by her choices this season and I’m far from the only one.
As for the rest of what you said, I’ve heard this kind of argument before and it comes from a place of internalized misogyny - Sandoval lied to Ariana about being with Kristen when he kissed her in Vegas and Katie was “mean” to Schwartz and Sandoval bc they are serial cheaters who have gaslit/treated all the women horribly for years, but conveniently you seem to have left that part out - so I wish the best for you.
@@cecilytrowbridge I'm not giving you any break. Lala, like most women, initially reacts very emotionally and enraged. She is triggered from her own personal trauma. Trauma inflicted by her own personal choices btw. She is trying to make everything about herself, just like most women on the show and in life in general do. However, even a broken clock is right twice daily, therefore Lala at times has shown ability to sit down and have mature conversations when needed. And she needs to show that because she has personal agenda - she has a custody battle to win.
As for your misogyny comment, I'll reply that by your logic your opinions are misandristic. Katie is a mean person by nature. She has been mean to most people on the show and apparently that's how she is off the show too. She is only "friends" with people she can benefit from or do business with. Pay close attention who is she friends with now - Ariana, Dayna, Nick Viall - she does business with them. Yet she made a contradictory comment about business and friends on WWHL with Andy. Btw, just because someone has cheated it doesn't mean you have to be mean to that person. It doesn't mean you have to be controlling and emotionally abusive like Katie has been to Schwartz. She hates Sandoval because he has stood up to her and has called her out. Lala and James have done the same and she hates them too. Now she hates Brock as well as he exposed her in the last episode. Katie was mean to Scheana in the early season, she was mean to Lala when she first joined the show, she was mean Raquel, etc. She a mean and hateful person, period. But when someone calls her out and puts her in her place, she cries and pretends to be a victim like "nobody takes her side"....cause her side is wrong most of the time.

Scheana I think people definitely knew who you were in the Netherlands but the Dutch attitude is not acting crazy and realizing you are human and give you space and we have laws regarding paparazzi 😊 I live close to a Hollywood a-list celebrity and he doesn’t get approached at all. The show has no structure anymore, it’s like bits and pieces of the past, and a constant reunion.
The public fall in love with the characters and it’s like being in a broken relationship, but still being friends with the cheater.
Even many of you say it’s hard to give up a friendship with someone you’ve loved, because of infidelity.
The show needs structure, possibly a new cast completely, the old cast may need do a spin off, like the Valley.
Grace doesn’t seem to know what is going on in the news or in public. She’s just spouted a lot of biased nonsense. Or is she being disingenuous because she’s in the US? So..... we’re not immoral or feral, we do tip in restaurants(not as much as Americans) and the majority of us like the Royal Family. Grace! Stop sucking up, it’s not necessary. And broaden your horizons a bit. You seem to be stuck in a stale social media loop.
Maybe she’s kissing up, but I’m guessing there are class differences as well. I imagine that people who like the royal family are more likely to go church and vote Tory. Does that strike you as Grace? I don’t think so. I think a little over half the voting public in the UK supports the royals, but the public at large doesn’t vote all that much.
We in the US like the royals for fashion, pomp and most of all scandals. We don’t defer to their discretion because of tradition. I mean they live off of public funds while making heaps (UK word) off of rent for their private coffers. I am anti-royalist for a great many reasons, but it’s not my battle to wage. I’m just pointing this out to say that Grace is talking about a different kind of fandom here in the States.
Finally, UK people don’t tip like we do in the US. Nowhere does. Servers depend on our tips to make a living - it’s at least 80% of their earnings.
One thing they were wrong about was sales tax. That’s what we call VAT. It varies from jurisdiction to jurisdiction here so we can see it on our receipts. In Britain and other countries, it’s usually included as part of the sales price.
I was a Tory voter, only because of what Blair did to the Labour Party and the country. I’m from an Irish Catholic family but I’m atheist and English. The RF certainly make a lot of money, but an huge amount for the country. What we spend on them is a drop in the ocean. We too like the pomp and ceremony, but we also like the grounding that the monarchy gives us. The ongoing tradition and stability. Although they haven’t been stable in their personal lives for a long time. Please don’t take offence but an American style presidency would be abhorrent to most of us. And the cost is outrageous. I’m afraid Grace came across cringy and a little out of her depth. If she wants to be funny and insulting then do it properly and honestly, we love that kind of humour over here. Sorry this reply is all over the place, but why don’t American wait staff get paid in the normal way? 🇬🇧🇺🇸
@@Roz-y2d I honestly have no idea about the origins of our system of paying waiters. I just know that restaurant owners lobbied to get them exempt from minimum wage laws and they won. Lots of ways this country is messed up. I’m still against monarchy and think spending any public funds on this rich and entitled (in all senses of the word) family is ridiculous. But I don’t live in your country, and I respect your position. 🙂

I’m from Edinburgh, Scotland…yeah we’re Brits too Grace! Have watched VPR since it started and love Hayu so I can watch it the day after it airs in the States. Have visited LA many times, have been in SUR, Pump and the old Villa Blanca. We were in Florida when Lala was touring and saw her show. Have followed Janet and Jamie Lynne since they did the podcast years ago w Scheana, cos they’re great girls. Funny thing is I’ve never heard of Grace, but I have now! Was gutted I didn’t get to meet Janet n Jason and Ariana when they were in Edinburgh last year and were in some of my favourite restaurants ☹️ So yeah Grace, even in Scotland there are many fans that go way back to season 1 !!! Love Scheana btw….and of course Brock and cute little Summer ♥️

I am loving this episode!!!! All these women are awesome!!
I bet at the VPR reunion we will see the women's friendship split up. Lala & Scheana on one side versus Ariana & Katie on the other side. The women haven't been good friends to each other or to others and they flip flop often. The only true friendship on the show has been between the Toms. And the women, mostly, wanted to destroy that by manipulating Schwartz to abandon Sandoval. Kinda like how Stassi and Katie did to Kristen in the earlier seasons. People forget how much footage there is and the storylines from all the seasons, especially the early ones.
Lala shouldn't be trusted though. She always has a personal agenda.She may be doing and saying things to present certain image in order to win a custody battle she is in. She has earned some credit for some things she has said and done (a broken clock is still right twice a day) but she can still be criticized for many other things, just like everyone else from the cast. It wasn't so long ago she was feuding with Scheana and calling Brock deadbeat dad. But I've always found Katie to be the worst on the show - very manipulative and shifty person. Btw, Katie has a podcast with Dayna and now they are eskimo sisters via Max. That's funny.

Let me just say what Tom S. Did to Ariana is horrible, but, it actually was his friends group first, so, to make them choose sides is a really bad spot to be in, of course there is loyalty to Tom for the friendship they shared pre Ariana, but, there is the friendship to Ariana and supporting her through what has to be soul crushing. I actually feel like La La is trying to be the voice of reason, they do still live together, so, there should be some degree of being an adult and not putting someone else in the middle
The one that I still do not understand is going out of the house in your pajamas. Yuck. It’s dirty out there. Why do you want to be traipsing around in your bedclothes when you have outside clothes you can wear. That just seems unsanitary and gross.
I think it’s usually the day after they’ve slept in it, so the outfit will be going into the laundry anyway. Women often sleep in a t-shirt and sweat pants so it’s identical to what they’d walk around the neighborhood in. I don’t think they are often going to the store then hopping in the bed for no reason.

Ouf I take every interview with a grain of salt because they are not the most intellectual bunch, but wow am I fueled with this broad! First off, the monarchy is 100% important, if not your country would be in the same freshman problems ours is having right now so be thankful! What is she, 20? Your opinion on the international stage hold no weight. Moving on, Scheana I love your guests but this child is above her limits.
The thing I feel the worst about for Ariana though is the fact that when Tom cheated he didn't just cheat... he fell in love. So by the time she knew she had no more chance to win him back.
