This behind the scenes video talks about Dan's love for this song and his desire since childhood to create a new arrangement of it. The video also highlights the experience and personal interviews of many involved in its production. It was quite an undertaking, and everyone loved every minute of it, except maybe the frozen noses.
Dan Truman, member of the Grammy-winning country music group Diamond Rio, and this video as well as the original production kicks off the release of his first solo album, "Faith." O My Father (Oluwa Mi) was arranged by Dan and performed as a piano duet with his son, Chad. The incredible Alex Boye provides the lead vocal as only he can- in his trademark "Africanized" style.
The music video was shot on the shores of Tony Grove Lake in Logan Canyon, Utah. Adding background vocals to the song and video are several successful singers/musicians who are featured on several other songs of the album. Dan is honored to call them his friends:

I having troubles when I click on the link to dantrumanmusic.com I don't know if the site is down or what the problem is. I wanted to buy the cd because Alex boye is one of my favorite singers and Dan Truman is one of my favorite keyboard/pianist specialist. I've been a fan of Diamond Rio for many years, and I think they two together make magic. It is music I could sit and listen to over and over all day.
