I haven't used a Tube Amp of any kind since 2009 Love the Solid State/Modeling Amps they give me everything I want and need and more and much more reliable the Technology the past 20 plus years with Solid State/Modeling Amps is remarkable..
Wow. I just stumbled onto this video after seeing your Gibson/Chapman video a few minutes ago. This amp is a pure titan of gigantic proportions. Brutal, nasty, devastating. This is my main rehearsal and live head, through a Marshall 4x12. This is the only solid state amp that PREFERS to be driven super loud, it craves it! 200 watts of beautiful stereo power. Awesome guys!
Got the same amp, used it live, in the studio and for home use. Great amp, sounds huge in the room! Got the same 'problem' with the Chorus, put then again who would use that...
Just a guess, but if you're hearing chorus only through headphones - are you using both amp outputs? Stereo chorus effect might only be apparent when two speakers/cabs (or one stereo cab) are connected.
I have the same one ,my head would burn out every time I plugged it in mono .Are you guys using it mono? I have had to switch cab in stereo postion and use two cables or two cabs . Stereo works great that way.Any idea what the pedal is called cant seem to find one
Hi, one remark to the Chorus; this a stereo Chorus, so actually it only "works" when used with 2 cabs, so in stereo :) I have the same amp and was wandering at the begginig, why the hack it does not work :D
It's a stereo chorus amp. Therefore, only works when there's stereo output, e.g. headphones, or with a second cab.

If you run a metal zone through the effects loop, it sounds like the nastiest amp you’ll ever hear. Everyone was using them all wrong.

Pretty much my setup rn. I love that the amp is built like a brick. Mine's been through some stuff.
Running metalzone as an eq works better in the effects loop. Thats how i run it on my RH300 G3.
Oh no, it's a Metal Zone!

Metal zones are sick y'all just don't understand what tone is ffs.
I really like the clean sounds ........ Love the metal too but the clean is icing on the cakem, most older randalls wont clean up that nice.

The pedal?? You mean the Metal Zone??
I'm thinking maybe you got to have both out tree plugged into like a full stack and then you'll get your cereal chorus

I know because mine's the same way. I have a manual printed out for it. Pretty sure it's explained in there.
How the hell did you make this amp sound so bad arghhhhh
The guitar is out of tune and the amp sounds like solid state shit.
Scooping mids is straight up amateur shit.
🤣
Depends on the amp your using. My Marshall's I have the mids at 2. To most that is scooped.
